MY church, Mount Paran Church of God North, Marietta, Georgia. Yep ! A Pentecostal church. Biblically sound, and where I learned all about Prophecy many years ago, under Dr. Paul L. Walker. Just LOOK at the SIZE of our wonderful choir as they Praise Jesus !!!!

Actually, this is Mt. Paran (main campus) in Atlanta and not Mt. Paran North in Marietta. Mark Blankenship is leading the choir and Stan Whitmire is on piano. Dr. Paul Walker pastored Mt Paran (main campus), not North.

WOW! It want to long before the Midnight Cry and we're out of here! We must keep praying for our love ones to be saved!

Your memory is just slightly off. When we bought North, Dr. Walker scooted up and down the road for several years, as pastor of both churches. I even remember the Sunday when the church(es) gave he and Carm a new car, which was presented to them from the North sanctuary. Cameras were on him as he went thru one of the outside doors to receive the gift, while all of us seated inside were able to watch because of the cameras. Bless his sweet heart. For quite a while it was a juggling act for him as he made a beeline each Sunday from one sanctuary up the road to the other location, and everyone laughed as we all knew that he was sorta lead-footed while driving. After his retirement is when North got its own pastor. A question, just for curiosity…..were you there for the couple of years when we were so blessed to have Mark Rutland on staff ? How about Dr. Mac ? Oh, those truly were the blessed days. So nice to meet someone online who is a fellow member ! God bless you ! ❤️

The midnight cry referred to in the song is the announcement of Jesus’ return to get His people. The Rapture of His church. That will be a joyous time for all who belong to Him - both the living and the dead. We will be with Him physically forever 🙌🏽

Jesus Christ Is Lord

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38! Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures. We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD. If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ set up the way, and we must come the way he set up to be saved or to receive it. Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. All scriptures have to harmonize together .

You do not have to be baptized in order to be saved. It is only by having faith that Jesus is the Son of God, died so you can be forgiven, and rose from the tomb 3 days later. Salvation is by faith in His grace, ALONE! Ephesians 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. If you have true faith then you will produce fruit, as we will know them by which. Baptism is a proclamation of your faith in the risen Messiah! Hallelujah!!!

​@@The_King_ReadiesOurWings Are you willing to put your eternity life on the line for that? Show me scriptures where you are saved by faith alone. The bible never said, by Faith or grace ALONE. I'll show you scriptures where you must obey God's commands to be saved. I'll show mines and you can send yours. Titus 3:5 and Ephesians scriptures on salvation is talking about YOUR OWN GOOD DEEDS OR WORKS THAT YOU HAVE DONE. I agree with that 100%. By the grace or goodness of God he put his spirit in a body and dwelt down here among us. That's what Ephesians is talking about. It's simply saying that God made a way for us to be redeemed back to him without us doing anything to make him do it for us. IT WAS BY GRACE HE SET UP A WAY FOR US TO BE SAVED. It's not saying that because Jesus died on the cross you are automatically saved. No more than Noah and Lot being saved just because they had faith. They had to believe and obey God's command on how to be saved even though he set up the way. So Noah believed or had faith in what God said, and then he WORKED OR OBEYED GOD AND STARTED TO BUILD THE ARK. LOT BELIEVED OR HAD FAITH AND THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM TO BE SAVED. He didn't just have faith. WE have to have faith that God has set up a way to be saved and then OBEY HIM BY OBEYING ACTS 2;38. Why else would you have salvation scriptures in the bible if all you have to do is simply believe? Come on, that's what the devil want us to believe. All disobedience is sin. Why Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-5, Galatians 3:27, Colossains 2:12, 1 Peter 3:21? Who gave man the power to change God's word? This is why we need the Holy Ghost to help us to see the truth in these last days. Remember, all scriptures have to harmonize together and you can't take any away. Can a man be saved by faith ALONE? Let the bible itself answer that in James 2:14, 17, What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. I didn't say it. Think about it. Why didn't Jesus just say, he that believes shall be saved? Mark 16:16? Why did he say, he that believe AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED. See how all the salvation scriptures harmonize with each other and none is done away with? Plus they all go along with the actions in the bible. Acts 10th chapter, Cornelius was a believer or had faith, but still he wasn't saved, and that's why you have Acts 11:14, Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved. If he was saved the moment he believed, then there would have not been a need for this verse. It's time to come back to the bible. If we mislead souls, there blood will be on our hands. I do agree with you that it's not by works that we have done, but by obedience to God. If i brought you a ticket from the goodness of my heart and tell you to come get it, and you refuse to, then you won't receive it. Even though I paid the full price for it. Same with Jesus. For by grace are we saved, just means that we didn't have to do anything for God to have mercy on us. He loved us even though we were still in sin. Don't get the works mixed up.
