Mount Google DRIVE in Linux Using Gnome Online Accounts
In this video, I'll show you how to easily mount your Google Drive in your Debian or Ubuntu based Linux file browser using the Gnome Online Accounts application. If you're already using the Gnome Desktop Environment, you won't need to install Gnome Online Accounts to access Gnome's awesome cloud connection ability.
But if you're using a different Linux desktop environment, you'll still be able to install and use Gnome Online Accounts.
I’ll be doing this beginner-friendly walkthrough in MX Linux 21 XFCE but you should still be able to easily follow along regardless of the operating system you use.

This is a pretty straightforward and simple way to mount your Google Drive on your system. There's also Rclone which is a bit more powerful and is feature rich albeit not beginner friendly. Great video!

Hi Sir good video tutorial as always. I would like to humbly request from you to please give a video on how to successfully run timedoctor (classic version) which is an app image. It is used to run before but not anymore with the current version of MX. Thanks in advance.

@tftechpages I don't personally use Google photos but Rclone is able to interact with it: rclone.org/googlephotos/ There are a few limitations (like videos are downloaded in compressed form) so it may be better to go through the web app to download. @twix_232 Thanks! I made a video that shows how I made most of the desktop theme: kzread.info/dash/bejne/amSNqriuppDLhtY.html For the Conky, I modified two different Conkys - the Eridanus Fornax Conky for the day and the MX-CoreBlue conkyrc2core for the clock.
Is giving access to gnome safe?

@sha9111984 It should be fine. GNOME is open source so security issues if any are usually found by the many independent sleuths who check the code.
