Mount Fremont Fire Lookout is located in Mt Rainier National Park, Sunrise point. Mt. Fremont Fire Lookout is a great hike on the North side of Mt. Rainier. This 5.6 miles round trip hike has awesome views and an unique trail, includes frozen lake, which is the water source of Mt. Rainier Sunrise point. If you are looking to great hike with a relaxing scenic beauty, this is the one.
We went up for sunset and the whole experience of this look out was outstanding. The trail is easily navigable well marked in the dark as well, but headlamps are suggested.
We also stayed there to witness Milkyway on a Summer new moon night. Got incredible experience.
