Aww...You are not lucky enough to catch magical sunrise of Bromo. Just like me, 4 times to Bromo and didn't catch it either. You should go at summer, around August is the best time, cloud is clear and possibilities of sunrise are high. Wish you could go back and witness the sunrise of Bromo in future. man i went in near end april, got no bromo from viewpoint too. but all in all, pretty damn nice trip despite the long driving distance. Indonesia is awesome.

I traveled to Bromo 27 years ago with about 9 other tourists on the hike, completely clear sky, watched the sun rise over the greater rim from Bromo's ridge, lava gently simmering behind me. It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen, but then again, I'm yet to see an effing whale shark! Pardon my French, but you're a pair of ****s. Loving your vlogs :)

in the PH, whale sharks can be seen and you can also dive in with them in 2 places, in Donsol and Oslob. In Donsol, you can catch the whale sharks during their migration time to Donsol from November to June. While in Oslob, you can swim with them at any time coz they feed them (some say its un-ethical way).

More than 10 years ago. Stairs already there. Never been in Kawah Ijen, will definitely put that on my bucket list.

It's so unlucky, The Bromo Mountain is foggy. You cannot see the beautiful view of Bromo. Just try another day guys, because the weather is unpredictable, I hope you're lucky next time. Enjoy your trip in Indonesia.

I´ve been there 10 years ago and got the "whole package" with a beautiful sunset and maybe a third less tourists/people and it was an amazing experience. You both really had bad luck and I wish you all the best for your next trip to Java and mt.bromo!

I suggest you take time to climb Mount Semeru for your next trip to East Java. It'll take 3 days and 2 nights. Try to search for Ranukumbala. A beautiful lake near Mount Semeru. That 5 mountains are on the huge mountain.. The huge mountain is called Tengger mountain (pegunungan tengger) 5 mountains are Semeru , batok , bromo , kursi and widodaren.. unlucky foggy condition didnt allow you to enjoy the clear view of them.. better come to TNBTS in around july-september , that time is spring/hot season

reminds me the memory of 2016 when I went there.

you may also try visit philippines.we also have whale sharks and nice beaches

hello.iam from jakarta indonesia.well..bromo is called negri diatas awan or country above the clouds. this is third best mountain in the world...after alpen mountain. this is the biggest caldera in the world.the nature, cultur and view is still original. have you ever visited eidelwis garden and historic madakaripura waterfall , the place where the king gajahmada died.this is the beautiful place in the world.aay to you friend in the world that bromo is the best...thanks.

Was still a cool experience and reason for us to go again. For Bromo again we just booked through our Air Bnb - they were super helpful and makes it really easy. For the whale sharks, they are only there certain times of the year around January till March. Our host took us to this too haha Adi is awesome! No need to book, you just pay the entrance fees and wait in line if there are many people going
