Wintery weather in the preceding days had dropped snow on the mountains of Idaho down to about 7,000 ft - much lower than I expected. The day dawned with clear, blue sky, but very cold. I started late to have afternoon sun on the West facing trail. A few other hikers came down around noon, I was just getting started. The entire afternoon, I had the mountain to myself, which is unusual for a Sunday. Just a few weeks earlier, during the total solar eclipse on Aug-21, I was told there were 150 people on the summit!
I didn't make the summit, but my Phantom 4 did! Enjoy in up to 4K resolution.
