I don't know if anyone told you yet. But when you use the charge command your men rush to use melee attacks including your archers. But if you use( engage ) your troops will use the the weapon best suited to the situation. For example your archers will stay at range and use their bows until they run out of arrows.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing... I am struggling with the timing on the lance but I enjoy it. I thought, couldn't I be more effective as an archer? Haha thanks for the tips!

I remember watching a lot of your rimworld playthrough. And I remember enjoying it because you game a bit like I do, thoughtfully and carefully. So when this Bannerlord video popped up I was like cool, he's playing the game I'm currently playing, and then I quickly realized why I stopped watching your stuff......it's all the ads. Do you really need the pennies their paying you to have ads interrupt the watchability every 5 minutes? I get you stream these and post them on here after the fact, but man, I wish I could just hit play, kick my feet up, and watch your stuff without all the interruptions. Regardless, if you decide to do a let's play of this, I'll make an effort to stick it out. I really like your content, so I hope you don't take this comment the wrong way. It's just the constant ads that hits a bad note.

Hello again! So wonderful to have you back! I have a lot to learn in this game but it's so hilarious and fun so far haha

A bit late commenting on this video, but here is something you might find useful: You start combat with whatever weapon you have in the topmost of your 4 weapon slots in your inventory - no more suddenly remembering you forgot to equip the correct weapon when the enemy is almost upon you.

Also dont level ur troops all the way to the top they will cost a lot of money and drain u of every coin u got then they start desert ur party

the more different types of food you keep in stock the faster you "stewardship" levels up, it's a useful skill that you can level up passively just from carrying around some different foods. Fair warning though; according to the wiki not all perks are actually working in game, so it might be wise to check the wiki to see if any given perk is actually working before you put your perk points into them. Also, if you plan on playing for the long term you'll want to find a wife ASAP, so you can get as many kids as possible, you can pay the head of a noble house for marriage or you can try and convince the lady through conversation although that can be difficult.

So whena lords like neutral parties are nearby they will help u attack enemy bandits

this game suddenly had an increase in new players. pikes are not good when in horseback. you have to have a long weapon that can do a large side slash or sweeping strike.

I see! I was thinking my pike was like a lance from the first game which is really long, but it's too hard to hit for me with the pike... I will change weapons! ;D Thanks for the tips!

@@DrIncompetent yea because this game is always about fighting in a large crowd. able to hit as many enemies in one strike is always the best.
