    This video is so helpful, I want to do this build in the hydrangea blue tower 300, and I know "performance first" but the project zero board is the only board that wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb visually in my particular build.

    Hi YuasBirds, I was very tempted to get the hydrangea blue case, love that color for sure! I'm happy you found this video helpful! I think the project zero boards do look cool....I know everybody says 'performance first' and I can't disagree and I get it. But for me personally, alot of the fun is making it look great! What that means to everybody is completely different of course. But the cool thing about diy building a PC is you get to do it your way, don't let anybody tell you different! Most importantly, learn as much as you can and have lots of fun with it! Good Luck, have fun and game on!!! Hydrangea Blue FTW! Thanks for watching!

    this combo works as expected. If you choose to connect cables down the left side last it is a bit fiddly, but doable. The erroneous TT comment was likely from some misinformed corporate.

    Did this with the B760M Project zero. Went in easy. Only caveat is you need to connect case io connectors and maybe rgb or fam cables, prior to putting in the motherboard. Just connect and pull through as you place the board on the standoffs. Then you dont have to mess with that one side after the motherboard is screwed in.

    Did you have any problem to fit the motherboard in the case, particularly in the side where the GPU is?

  • @Kinaek

    @Kinaek

    5 күн бұрын

    @@Shouziroku no just the cable issue. You just need to plan ahead for which headers youre going to use down the gpu side and connect them prior to fastening the board down. In my build there was one cable I had to install on that side after the fact, it was tricky but doable. But other than that it all fits fine. Cable mgmt is a breeze too. Only cables visible are the usb and power for my AIO.

    @@Kinaek I finally was able to fit it. It's a tight fit because there's a kind of metal lip on the mobo. And yeah I was afraid I would need to buy longer cables but luckily they were enough. Those connectors on the right side(seen from the back) are a pain though. I also had to turn the PSU upsidedown so that it intakes from the base of the case instead of working against the fans blowing air up.

    I do like the idea of having more of the connections on the back but not all. Many AIOs have at least one set of wires coming off the pump from the block and would much rather plug that in to a nearby header instead of wrapping it all the way to the back. I do wish they would make them in just plain black as well.

    Hi gscurd75, that's an excellent point that I hadn't considered since I used the Corsair iCUE link one with this. You are correct though, mose AIO's have a cable (or two) coming off of it that would ruin the effect a bit. Score one for iCUE link I guess, haha. I also agree, hopefully, if these become more popular we'll get some new looks. All great points, thanks for the support, and for watching!!!

    I love the looks of the tower 300 ! Yhe fact that it could work with a project zero MB is even better. Regarding those connections that are a pain to get to. , I figure just getting some short (50mm) stubbie cable extensions is a small price to pay to not have to worry about access them. Hmmm might need to get a can of paint , I want a blood red case , With the inserts and tops being black. Kinda odd TT doesn't offer this case in red .

    HI tonydalimata, I agree, it's a great looking case and I though the same thing about buying some extensions for the rear facing project zero connection, but honestly it's not needed. It was easer to access than I though and with some care it's not hard. I love your idea about a blood red case that sounds cool for sure!!!! Let me know if you complete that! Thanks for watching!!!

    No support for tower 200, at least when I did the review of the 200 it wasn't supported, I just looked at the product page for the tower 200, they haven't changed anything that I can see. You would truly have to get the jigsaw and "cut here" if you want it working on the tower 200. I'd like to see them add it though!

    @@HardwareArtisan Aww bummer. I figured it may fit the main power cable and the CPU power if the holes lined up. But of course anything on the side aka bottom of the mother board area would probably be a challenge at best and need cutting at worst.
