Thank you for doing this.I couldn’t find any videos with actually showing injecting into the arm.Please let us k ow how it feels.I am on week 5 now 5mg dose and haven’t had much appetite suppression and only lost 5 pounds so far.I am not even a huge eater and do intermittent fasting too.I wonder why I am not seeing the results others are.Maybe I need to change my injection site from thigh to arm.

I’ve tried the arm a couple of times… I’m anxious to hear your results. Good job jabbing yourself!

@@mimimuses hey there…. I didn’t see any difference. I injected two consecutive times in my arm and I didn’t notice any change in appetite suppression either time. Yesterday I injected in my thigh, which I haven’t done for quite a while… I’ll see if I notice any difference there.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve been on 2.5 for my third week now. I’ve only injected at the stomach and after the first week i too experienced redness, swelling and itching at the injection site that can be irritating. I have wanted to try the arms. My PCP is requiring a visit or virtual visit every three weeks which is cosy since i have a high deductible plan with my employer. Might decide to go off if he can’t see me less frequently. But, one positive is i lost 10lbs so far. Keep up the progress and best of luck to you!

@@mimimuses i fell off. I was not willing to pay $225 monthly co-pay fee to see my PCP so he stopped the scripts 😏

Sorry to hear that the ease of getting Mounjaro was taken from you. I hope there is another chance for you in the future.

You didn’t clean your arm with alcohol first?

Hi Mimi, Mike here. I just injected my 5 MG shot in the back of my arm just like you did. I didn't notice any difference in pain. I didn't feel it really in the thigh, nor in the back of the arm. I'm still on the 5 MG shot, but I did talk to my doctor's office today, and I asked to be moved up to 7.5 MG. Still not feeling appetite suppression, and still no weight loss. I'm still at 239 lbs. Good news, my blood work last week showed that my A1C level did lower to an eight, which is a step in the right direction. No other side effects to report. Since taking this medication, I am sleeping better at night. Also, no bathroom issues to report. I'm hoping to have better luck with 7.5 MG. Keep us posted on how you made out on the back of your arm. I'm hoping this makes a difference for me. - Mike

Hi Mike, thank you for watching my video and commenting! I am so sorry it has taken me a month to comment back. My husband who is diabetic is now on the 7.5 and hasn't really felt appetite suppression or weight loss either. He has lost a couple of inches from his stomach so he's happy with that. Maybe you have lost inches? The A1C going down is definitely good news though. My first week at the back of the arm reaped really good results and got me out of a stall with the weight loss but after that it didn't make much difference. How are you doing now?

Sorry I am only replying now but that's a good question! I had another 10mg, one 12.5mg and a bunch of 15mg scripts all ready at the pharmacy for me to fill when I need to. The logical thing would be to use the 12.5 then go on to the 15. First, I thought a jump might kick-start my regular weight loss. Second, I thought if there is a shortage of 15 then the 12.5 could be my back up, but if I have used the 12.5 the 10mg would have to be my back up. I am sure that there is a much better way to explain my thought process, and I don't know if I made the right decision. I'm on the 15 now and seems to be working well!

Don’t titrate up too soon stay on lower doses longer

I like that you can feel the jab more in the arm.

Yeah, because I couldn't really see what I was doing so easily it did help me to know that I had got the right spot!

I don’t think I could inject myself in the arm. I’ll have to get my wife to help.

Ah ha! Yes my cat is probably judging me but I had to do it the way that felt most comfortable for me, even if it looks a little awkward for the viewer!
