Thanks! I read the posts regarding Rudy's passing and many of the stories are your classic "you will be missed," but a couple posts were stories where he was being an arrogant ass to his subordinates...apparently he never changed his ways.

Wow, this video is timely to something I was recently personally confronted about - similar but not exactly the same. Short answer, NO - people should not be "obligated" to feel bad when someone they knew as an a-hole dies. Regardless of how that person dies, what their job was, or who they were related to. If that person was an a-hole to you, you do NOT need to feel bad. I would even go as far as to say you can be happy or pleasantly indifferent if you want to. Death does not absolve someone of the actions they did, or words they spoke against you. Their "loved ones" might suffer, but that's not my problem either. Don't care. Sorry for the rant, but this video hit me at a weird time. Peace.

Apparently he was killed by an Iraqi soldier during operation Iraqi Freedom. The guy was tried in Iraqi court, so that suggests that the guy was working with the US. Given what I know of Rudy's personality, my guess was that Rudy probably harassed the Iraqi soldier to the point that the dude had enough and killed him.

Was "Rudy" a small guy? I had a guy that tried to bully me in high school and I think he did it to try and prove a point because he was tiny. I'm 6'3" and this guy was about 5" tall and he would give me crap everyday until I had enough and put him in his place. Those people that are small in stature that feel they need to prove something because of their size just irritate me

He was about the same size as me. Maybe a little more muscular, but not much more.
