That engine has a horrible ticking noise. It seems louder than normal.

It just seems more excessive than usual. I've heard many new engines any never heard that before.

+David S probably because it is some ECU set up that would cheat somehow, someway the EPA. If not then it is the natural ugly sound of pure quality of a German product.

+ David S Noise is from the high pressure Direct Injection. Q3 is just another slightly disguised VW Golf....along with its crude Standard 4 pot.

Bor... (zzzzz)...ring. Plain interior, basic Volkswagen motor, at that known for problems, and yawn worthy exterior styling. Why is this worth $40,000?
