ty ! i was so afraid that my car could have a trouble. Now i'm glad to hear that he really sound normaly.

That’s an amazing channel. Hearing a healthy engine is very good when you want to buy a used car or comparing to your engine sound.

Good to have a baseline of what the engine is supposed to sound like it helped me when buying the 320d. Same engine 120kw, 163hp. 2006/12 thanks for the video.

What sound makes when u remove that oil cap?

It amazes me that mine 118d e87 2005 have exactly same sound as this one with 280k kilometers

No byt work is expensive

Same engine and automatic,but when i shutdown a car they shake a bit. Idk what can it be

Throttle body. i had the same issue. it should close when you press the shut down button. if it stucked at open position then the car will shake at shutdown. its easy to check that, just take off the tube.

There wasnt a Problem, he only shows us the sound of the motor :) Greetings

Good engine, change oil regulary, and crankcase breather filter. Do not remap it.

Why not to remap it? I have mine remapped and it works like a dream.

@@AmazingYT remap will destroy this engine in max 3 years. Cooling system not handle 200 ps after remap in engine also much higher oil pressure.

@@DomissTvShoty Not true. I know 20+ people that have or had this engine in their car remapped. Nobody has ever had problems.

@@AmazingYT m47 has cooling for 163 ps. You can make even 210 ps but cooling system will be broke sooner or later. You co go to serwis bmw and ask. Bye.

@@DomissTvShoty You are wrong. The cooling system can handle much more power than 210ps. I have 210ps and the temperature is 75°C-85°C. The temperature should be higher than that! Go educate yourself.

Is there normal for this motor to put white smoke on oil plug when i open it, my engine sound like this one

depends how much, if its pretty smoking and bad like blue, then no doubt its the water pump gone or the oil separator needs change

@@martinristov7099 the smoke is like white or gray on oil cap, the car does not lose water, and there is blue smoke on the exhaust until it warms up, the dpf is removed, consumes 1 liter of oil per 2000 km, i have stage 1, the car go nicely and does not lose power
