Brilliant video and great tips, I’ll be using some of them. We had our cab broken into in France and didn’t realise until we got home. There is a very weak point on the drivers door lock which can be unlocked in about 2 seconds with a long narrow screwdriver. We always fit pro plates around the lock / handle now, well worth it, it’s not the prettiest but a brilliant deterrent.

You need a few stickers that says smile your being recorded. Great video its the little things we don't think about. You also need to a beware of dog. We know that precious baby wouldn't bite, but they don't. Or maybe beware of owner lol...safe journey to you both.

100 percent bud someone around here got a brand new Bentley stolen the opened their electric gates and got the car and it was gone under 3 minutes. Can’t see them wanting to risk it for a biscuit for a motorhome 😂 just have to do your best with what you have eh. I hope it prevents someone else’s van from going walkies eh 👍

My son had an alarm on his motorbike that had a sample from Phoenix Nights yelling "Get back yer b*stard or I'll break your legs". Luckily I keep my van in my back garden and it's difficult to get to, and seen by two cameras on approach.

We had our motorhome stolen, yep they got round a sigma s immobiliser and alarm, we got her back sa.e day due to a pretty cheap tracker from amazon, horrid feeling but that was just the start of the story then had to do battle with insurance assessors that caused even more damage !!

I’ve got a Huawei router with a smarty card in its unlimited internet for 18 quid. I used to use a TP link mobile router with a smarty card in it. However if you have an old phone you can hotspot too you can do that also I often hotspot to my iPhone as I’ve got an unlimited data account with 02 cheers for watching I hope that helps if you need anything else just email me buddy 👍

I do have an aerial however to be fair most of the time I get a better signal with the hot spot on my phone lol 😂

Fkinell its like going to war with stuff you've got onboard ! Unfortunately if someone wants to steal a moterhome they will do it no matter what security you've got onboard. I think its more about where you are and parked, the area youre in etc. Not being funny but i wouldn't go to Essex anymore as i know what can go on after working that way 20 years ago. Its not a nice place anymore. Too much like London unfortunately

That’s not the half of it bud lol 😂 and exactly if someone wants something they will nick it so you just have to make it as difficult as possible. I agree with you there it’s not what it used to be I’m fortunate I live in a smallish village and Essex is a huge county so there’s still a lot of beautiful countryside but a lot of the built up areas are crap’oles 😂 I’ll be moving in the next 5/8 years 😎

I used to work in Harlow and saw some mad crazy things ! And then Basildon and Dagenham. Bonkers ! Good you're in a quiet village. Southend is mad too !

@@mickwalker5120 I lived in timberlog lane in the 90's and had family in dagenham plus worked in dagenham for 30 years, pretty much a no go zone now, shame used to be ok never locked their houses in Dagenham, i wouldnt go out at night there now lol 😂
