I gave up wearing cotton as a base layer years ago (after many trips to Spain) as I find synthetic base layers do a better job of wicking moisture away. When it is really sorchio my Under Armour Heat Gear comes out along with a BCB Adventure NECK COOLING SCARF.

I'm hoping to do Pecos de Europa this year and gaining so many tips from your channel. Thankyou.

I'm off to the Pyrenees and Picos via France in June. I couldn't decide between a vented laminated jacket or a Knox Urbane Pro mesh jacket(I have both). After watching your video the mesh jacket and layering system make more sense( I use this combination sometimes during warmer days in the UK). I have been riding in the south of Spain but didn't know what to expect climate-wise at higher altitudes in the Pyrenees and Picos but once again your videos explain a lot:) @@RideSpain
