I haven't tried the bigger snails before so that will definitely be on the list when we visit Vietnam again!
Yes I would explain sea snails the same way. A chewy version of a mussel

Yeah absolutely! We had them in the ben thanh market too - the sauces with them make them delicious!

Me too! That crab and tomato flavour is unreal!
people say its hectic and crazy dring in Vietnam but Australia has good roads but in the big cities like Sydney and Melbourne driving is hell. our traffic lights have no timer so people drive wrecklessly and road rage. overall driving on paper sounds better in Australia but to be honest its so much better in Vietnam, when you get used to it of course

Yeah - Vietnam is hectic on the outside as there is just so much going on - people going off onto the footpaths, beeping, congestion etc. but I agree with you when you say Melbourne driving is hell. People are so distracted here and can't think for themselves! Quite frustrating actually hahaha

vietnamese noodle soup always eat them with sauce ( black and white sauce and lemon, and then take a meat mix with that sauce before put them to your mouth if not the soup very light

holy sheet aussie $50 for a food tour. thats it im making my viet gf do a food tour company with me. its insanly expensive but does give you a good tour of the city. and it probably includes transportation costs.

You should definitely create your own tour! Especially if you guys know all of the hidden gems.

the cheeky bastards are overpricing and and then so rudely asking for tips. this money is going into an americans pocket. the guide is maybe only getting paid $5 just so you know. i dont mind its a foreigners business but the tip system is so bad. thats why as an aussie i hate Uber and Air Bnb. overpriced and they pay the workers incredibly bad if i start a business there i will pay the workers so good that they can refuse tips, have a bit of class
