Motorcycle Drop Guards

This is a product review of my Motorcycle Drop Guards. I paid full price for these drop guards and I don't get any type of commission. I did this review because I truly believe in these.
These are not the same as engine and saddlebag guards. These actually bolt onto those guards as an added layer of protection. These things can take a BEATING (don't ask me how I know, LOL).
Whether you're an experienced rider or a new rider, accidents happen. The thing about accidents though, is that they happen unexpectedly. It's better to be prepared. Especially when you're talking about protecting a 900 lb investment that costs a small fortune.

This was great thank you. I’ve had the motorcycle drop guards and I still do slow speed drills, but I’m still really afraid to drop the bike. Once I saw you drop that bike ride at the end that was amazing. This summer I’m gonna do many more drillsand I won’t be afraid of dropping my bike because of this video

If you need those because you drop your bike a lot, what you really need is a lighter bike or a trike/sidecar.

If you are pushing yourself to get better, then dropping your bike will happen. If I want to duck walk the bike, or make a HUGE u turn, then I wouldn’t need them. Watch some motorcycle rodeos or police training. Those are professionals and even they drop their bike.

@Brandon's Bikes I was referring to "normal" day to day riding. The kind of riding you're talking about, I agree it's going to get dropped.

Practicing in a controlled environment means you are better prepared to navigate the challenges on the street. Failing to learn skills results in a total dependence on luck to hope you survive. If everyone practiced to learn the proper techniques, the occurrence of motorcycle crashes would drop considerably.

After watching this video, I think I'm going to invest in a set of these. I just bought a 21 SGS in snake venom on black. I really do not want to mess up that paint and having a very short inseam can make it easy to drop a bike. Just bought the saddle bag guards today. Will be buying these in a few weeks! I referred to this video specifically because it was the first one I saw to have a bike with factory stretched bags and the chopped engine guard. And seeing that last drop has made me a believer!

What crash bars do you have on your extended saddlebags?

Seeing bikes with NO tipover protection whatsoever makes me cringe! At the very least I'd want the factory or available optional guards. These MDG's are a good investment if you want to protect what you love. Ouch! Good video!

OMG, I'm so glad your video popped up on my feed! I'm awaiting delivery of a '23 RKS and these were the first thing I bought because I genuinely enjoy practicing slow-speed maneuvers. I've got a '21 Street Bob now and run Bung King (front and rear). Bought the bike brand new and have dropped it eight times and the Bung King have done their job - never any damage to the bike! Jay's product seems even more substantial, which is why I ordered them once I knew I was going to get a bagger. You should send him this video because that last drop is the ultimate ringing endorsement! Friggin' Street Glide flipped like a rodeo clown! Glad no substantial damage after that incident, but I did notice you took a blemish to one of your saddlebags (left, maybe?). Was that caused by the nut/bolt or the ground? Regardless, I'd take that knick as opposed to a new saddlebag. Thanks for this video...I subscribed. ✌🤘

Do the floor boards hit at all? People say floor boards hit first but nobody ever mentions it.

From the drop at the end? Small scratch on the faring near the mirror. However, that was a very unusual drop. The other drops, nothing touched the ground except for the drop guards.
