Motorcycle Chain Alignment (The Easy Way!)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video I'll show you the fastest, simplest, easiest way to make sure your motorcycle chain is adjusted properly. With nothing more than a $15 tool and some wrenches you can get rid of that annoying wobbling, drifting and chain stretching that comes from riding with an improperly aligned chain.

Great information and video. What you said about the axle plates came true for me. An older biker than me told me to look for perfect center on the rear sprocket and chain. Don't worry about the adjusters being even.

@albertstabelli5869 it’s an often overlooked piece of advice, people say just look at the adjusters and never realize they aren’t the full picture of alignment
Great teaching my friend have a blessed week.

Thanks brotha! If you use the link in my description it helps the channel but beyond that the feedback like this is what it’s all about man, I didn’t have a mentor in this when I got started so I’m trying to fill that gap for people who are in the same boat
had chain stretching issues all season. ordering that tool right now!

That’s great to hear! If you use the link in the description it helps my channel out 🤘🏼
Thanks for sharing this. I've done all of my adjustments at the axle while trust the manufacturer got everything symmetrically perfect. Now I'm gonna have to get one of those tools too. Could certainly use one right now.

Yea man I was surprised when I popped the tool on and saw how far off it was
This is great. I just fabricated my own hardtail frame and I'm making the engine mounts next. Any tips on making sure I have the *front* sprocket aligned properly?
awesome
Great video, immediate sub ✅!

If you’re interested shoot me an email Greasesgarage@gmail.com with some details about your build and where you’re at with it 🤘🏼
I replaced the alignment rod with a 1/8" drill bit that's about 4"-5" longer than the original rod The longer rod makes it easier to see misalignment/alignment.

🔥🔥🔥
Will that tool work with a belt
@greasesgarage
10 ай бұрын
That’s a good question, if you give me the width of the belt in question I could tell you whether the opening on the tool is big enough
6:36 It does not clamp to the chain.
"Coat the entire chain with lube" and the tyre 👎 Use a piece of cardboard to stop the aforementioned.... Takes longer, but if you like leaning over...
That bike looks like it's a nightmare to maintain, man.
@greasesgarage

Can’t imagine why that would be. Everything is out in the open. No covers, gaskets to change, stuff in the way etc. If this is a nightmare to maintain I can’t imagine what you’re riding that’s easier lol
$115? anything motion pro is a ripoff!

you never said how tight the axle nut should be
@greasesgarage

Correct. I can’t tell you what the spec would be for your particular bike but in all honesty I just crank it down as tight as I can and lock it up with a cotter pin

@greasesgarage I saw you had a snap ring on the threads up close to the nut I like that idea..
