Remembering the first race of 1992 Grand Prix of Motorcycle Season. Wayne Rainey needed to ride with a harmed hand from a pre-season test
(some portion of his pinky was expelled).
John Kocinski was on shaft, and led the pack toward the begin from Doug Chandler and Mick Doohan. Rainey had a terrible begin.
Àlex Crivillé smashed out of his first 500cc race; Wayne Gardner crashes out, as did Rainey at the Dunlop Corner.
Chandler led the pack of a 4-man group with Schwantz, Doohan and Kocinski. Kocinski smashed out.
Doohan and Chandler dropped Schwantz. Gardner had remounted and been able to fifth before crashing out for good a moment time and softening his leg in two places
