Watched some races this 2022 season & it's missing that Rossi & Co magic. They, just a few years ago, all had personalities, distinctive characters but something now has gone wrong radically. All I see is Spanish & Italians, Portuguese people but I can't tell one from the other. Please can we have a Seniors Tour. Half laps & a whole lotta laughs, skill & EXCITEMENT!

You can be a lover or a hater, but you've got to admit it's a pleasure to see someone ride like Rossi in his glory days. Constantly flirting with the limits of physics as if it's a game and putting constant pressure on the one in front of him to force mistakes. It's kind of like what Marquez did in the 10's but Rossi's been riding at this level up to about 2012-2015 one could argue. It's a lot more fun for spectators too to see these real fights, instead of laps that riders do like clockwork but crack under pressure in fights... like a Lorenzo, Bagnaia or Vinalez for example. Quatararo, Marquez, Stoner, Rossi, ... those are the real "aliens" to me.

No riders would never come close to the global fame rossi have.. People who dont know shit about motogp do knows valentino rossi. So he is the motogp for average. I guess rossi do knows how big impact he had around the world because he knows how to care and entertain fans more than any riders

He knew he was gonna win & the Doctor skit was funny & he plans it so everyone has to wait for him to roll in back. Magic Man & rider. Only Marquez is left but he's wore out poor guy. You think of all the riders these past 20yrs who in the first 10 or 12 starting places the names immediately gave you a persona & now like football there is no characters anymore.

Everytime I watch these old races, I'm still amazed at Rossi's riding. Back then he was doing things I find hard to believe. Love it

MotoGP was so much more exciting back then.

Now, a bunch of nobodies. How I miss that DayGlo yellow & beautiful helmets that Mr Rossi wore. Only Marquez has that something special & he is wore out now. The season is long & gruelling of about 8 months nearly.

@@Gjydcnkuikbvfdf incredibly sad seeing Nicky Hayden there. All that danger riding & he gets snuffed out on a bicycle. What the full story was in the end I don't know but he wasn't concentrating on the road it seems. America had a great ambassador on the track & paddock. Rest easy Tex.

despite the problem with His injury, do you think the retirement some legends like Pedrossa, Lorenzo, amd Rossi have an indirect impact to Marquez morale? cause' I've read somewhere He says He feels old rightnow fighting young guys every single race and He talk about retirement as well

@Lonewolf Nomadic he has achieved a lot in the sport though! Literally 2nd best of all time. I think he can retire happily now if he wants to. But I think he might be eying that 9th or even a 10th!
