MotoGP 24 Le Mans Setup + Hotlap Tutorial

Ойындар

MotoGP 24 is out and sooo much better than 23. Thought I'd show my 'hotlap' and setup while explaining what Im doing from a couple angles in case it helps any beginners etc. So kinda like a tutorial, walkthrough I guess. Hope it helps, enjoy!

Would like to do something like this, I'm not very good at video editing though so need to think about how I could make this!

Good lap mate. I'd suggest a bit higher gearing.

Physics and handling is good...? Rigid suspension on demand with throttle or brake application is the opposite of good because this does not happen in real life and it denies you of experiencing the full potential of handling/physics. This is the official MotoGP title and if realism is not to be the goal here, what other options are there really... There are good sim options for car racing, yet for motorcycle enthusiasts we still have companies who for some reason start going backwards to more arcade feel. It's so hard to hear so many who still do not understand these simple things that any changes done in setup only matters when there is no throttle or brakes applied. This means you will have a very limited window for riding style and mistakes are very hard to correct because you will mostly just end up applying MORE understeer which obviously will just worsen the situation. Then you got very little feedback through controller which makes the whole ride feel dead together with the smooth as butter tarmac of the tracks. Braking especially is so offputting I'm just lost for words. You just sit there and wait, and wait and hope and pray. I need to feel the speed being scrubbed off, and they could easily have added more feedback but no feedback should be easier in their eyes. Milestone should simply have added another slider so that the player could decide to zero out this unrealistic bs and fully rely on the settings and that's it. At least the game would be playable. Arcade, but playable. I regret purchasing this title because I thought the good reviews meant they had actually done something to this insanity that is also in Ride 5, but no. So, this means most people have just accepted understeery arcadey feely mess and now actually think that is good. It's during acceleration and braking you would want working suspension the most. I thought that was pretty evident...
