Our Isle of Mann TT was cancelled too. The highlight to my year. WTF ? There's enough UK riders that race the BMW and to be fair it's probably my 2and best bike. The 1st being Norton's V4RR.

Here’s maybe a little different train of thought Josh but look forward to adversity! Look forward to the suck and become comfortable when and where everyone else is “out of their element”. Do more laps in the rain, find your ability to ride in the cold and when you’re super tired (endurance races) and this will make you even more of a beast, as you accel where others back off. I learned this in the military and specifically in Ranger school and many long, shitty deployments.....but I first became comfortable, then I became proficient and in being proficient in the worst conditions, I was ready for anything thrown my way. Hang in there and heal up! Your race is coming! Just keep her sunny side up! 🤙

Hey, having doubts is only natural. I recently switched jobs, and it was a little bit of a gamble when I did it. I was nervous at first. It's gone really well, and I've been challenged to raise my skills, and have done so in impressive ways (they've been good about asking, but not adding pressure). Have confidence. know that you're the best out there, that you have lots of people in your corner. Know that eventually I'm gonna finish building my Ohvale killer and steal yo girl, but also that you're the best out there. You got this.

Love these edits! Im not a pro racer or nothin but I had the same issues with my s1k, Im a tall guy and still had issues reaching the bars to lean.. Tryed a bunch of setup, ride height, bars and pegs but ultimatly I changed the seat to a much higher seat. Weird but that made all the differance, and I have seen a lot of s1ks in bsb with higher seats as well so might be worth a try :) I hope they wont cancel the entire season, best of luck! Cheers mate

@@hfr8343 Im a bit shorter than you, Im 182cm (I guess 5'10? Not sure with your metrix) With a higher seat my legs dont hurt and I have no problems reaching around the tank. It might be the tank cover causing this though I never owned a street version

I wish Josh would have commented on the power comparison to other bikes. Oh dude! So... I'm at Nelson Ledges in 94. Tom Kipp is testing his Honda Camel 600 F3 after coming of his broken leg at Charleston. Anyway I'm following him checking out his lines. About the second lap my butthole starts to itch really bad. I farted and it went away. Man that was awesome. Its impossible to itch your butt with leathers.

Hey man. Not quite the start you were expecting. A lot of weird shit lined up to make that transpire! But yer gonna be OK. Sucks about Daytona but it does give you more time to get things sorted, which is a good thing. Take care of that shoulder. I get the feeling that this new bike doesn't have the same feel that the HP4 Race did. Unfortunate, but not a show stopper. She looks to have good bones. Just got to dial it in. Hopefully there will be more testing opportunities, things being what they are. If not, well, things are gonna be a hell of a lot more interesting! Either way, dude - yer up for it. It's gonna be fun to watch. And for goodness sake - enjoy. As always, thanks for bringing us along for the ride.

Kinda curious why your running the old bike? The new chassis is way better especially with wheelying. Maybe you can try to get a hold of an HP4 race swing arm. Love watching you ride, and after 9 years with BMW I hope to see rider put it up front. And if y'all are passing through ABQ it would be cool if y'all could stop by the shop. Also when you are in Atlanta you should hook up with Nate Kern, he has a lot of track miles on that bike.

@@FRFM00 better bike=better results=better payouts, better results=better sponsor bonuses. new bike=better contingency from manufacturer. you gotta pay to play at this level and expect results. and would just about guarantee it costs more to make the old bike half as good as the new bike. there is a reason BMW changed everything, the old bike is bad race bike. in wsbk the new bike is already getting better results than the old and it is still running a nearly stock engine.

On The Throttle America has too many sports that distract the masses...Europe has soccer(football) F1, WSBK, and Moto GP...we’ve got Nascar, NFL (American Football), NBA basketball, and most Americans are lame when it comes to supporting real racing. Trust me as an American I wish it wasn’t this way! Motorcycle racing gets almost no TV coverage or corporate sponsorship.

i always wondered what happens when you crash the bike, the team/company gets angry? what if you crash the bike three times in a row? they would fire you? how can anybody maintain the thin line between pushing the limits but try not to crash the bike? it must be a difficult job, riding..
