Yep, ewa does communications, I do Directions lol. For some reason especially in Europe "Devonian" is rarely Spoken or understood it seems! Yes we dont like to travel where everyone else goes, we like to find the smaller more authentic places. We are not interested in benidorm! The best Desert is yet to come...

Spain is so diverse, the landscape changes so often, its great. I tell you, i was starving when we went here and the food wasnt sounding optamistic when ewa came out, i was expecting things i wouldnt want to eat, then the legend brings me this! i was over the moon lol

while traveling in my tractor trailer, I would grab a few extra sauces and salt & pepper packets. (condiment's) BBQ, Ketchup, Mustard, * Mayo, and ground cheeses. For when I stop and get fresh veggies, to add to my meal. and (if) you had some room in your bags, I carry and small container of soapy water, so I can wipe myself down, if I have to stealth camp, so I don't go to sleep dirty.

Just got back from North Wales and I'm catching up on videos. Rich, your reaction to lunch made me laugh out loud, excellent. As for food. I only tour for a week or so at a time and at present in the UK, so I take all the food for my evening meals and buy lunch on the road wherever I find it. What you had tonight is the kind of thing I prepare myself, simple (like me) and tasty.

@@ontheroadadventure just like you guys, I'm an early riser 🤣 so I am on the road usually around 8.00am latest. That means by 11.00 am it is seriously lunchtime and I start feeling dull and tired and often start yawning. Fortunately in Wales you can often find a cafe serving breakfast. I have had a couple of absolute corkers this week. Evening meals are easy, microwave rice heated in a little water over the burner, then throw in some extra protein, mix it up. It does not look attractive, but if I get it right is tastes good.... but I don't always get it right 😝

Another great episode. Loving the scenery and such useful info at each town and campsite. We camped for a couple of nights last month and dont think we are brave enough for a camping only trip for a whole month. 2 of us on 1 bike is tight space for all the gear we would need. Not impossible, but at 68 years old, a bit ambitious. Keep up the good work ❤

Fair play to you guys, we definitely couldn’t carry all our stuff on one bike but we carry extra kit for the filming and editing etc too. Honestly I think camping a couple nights at a time is the way to go though, we are starting to feel the effects of what we are doing on this trip now but we are determined to finish our challenge!

Just bread has been what i had a few times here and in portugal so i couldnt believe my luck when this came! wasnt expecting that at all! what a happy man!! We also did not think of spain to be like this, its been full of surprises so far, every day so different...

They put gravel down to stop it becoming a dust bowl. I agree the middle of Spain is weird.

Oh yes you can’t beat HP! The thing about having no plan is you are never stressed that you can’t find “that road” on your route, or “we can’t stop here we still have x miles to do today”… That is Itinerary travel… we much prefer adventure travel with no idea where we are going or where we will sleep that night…

Thanks Stu, yeah we just go with the flow and accept where ever we are as it is, we are not interested in the main towns and cities, we love to find the real villages and places that the locals spend their time. The deserts are impressive here too

When I camp from ether the bike or the car I tend to do a mix. I carry a couple of packet meals with me just in case and try to eat stuff from the shops when the stuff is available. I do always try to eat the packet stuff before heading home just to give me more room.

Its amazing, as you say, Spain is so diverse, Everything from deserts to forest, beaches to mountain roads, huge areas of nothing and big cities, so much to explore here - so many things we never seen before or tried to eat before! But today was a special food day, A very happy Rich!

I was expecting banjos 🪕 at this camp site that or a polar bear 🐻‍❄️ But at least you got sausage egg and chips.

Awesome drone footage. Cant make poached eggs like eva does and i tried. Eva looks unwell. Hope she is ok. Loved the impersonation of eva when you opened the salt. Karen said "sounds like you!" If you go to morocco you will find you are travelling for a very long time, as in over and hour, with absolutely nothing. No houses, towns, people. Nothing

Lol we love to give each other a bit of grief, we do have a laugh together... We enjoy spending time in the Deserted places, it was quite unexpected here in spain though, i never really thought of it as a place that is so diverse and in places just empty.

I bought 16 firepot dried meals from Amazon - cup a soups and and a big box of Belvita - thats was breakfast and lunch using a fire maple cooker and then would have something to eat at night in a restaurant/cafe but in some cases nightime was also firepot - youre right you can waste alot of time searching for food etc so I didnt bother - also you can stop somewhere really nice to have lunch and no one around you no waiters to wait for etc and the price overall is much cheaper - did nealry 5000 km in two weeks and seven countries just riding all day from 7-7 (I did hotels at night though but out of seaon with no school holidays thats not that expensive) I have a DCT though which makes that more possible I think...

Yes, if it wasnt so close to where we had started we probably would have done that! its a very mixed bag for campsites in spain, oddly it seems to be all motorhomes, very few tents on the sites at all, which isnt surprising given the ground

Landscape with lots of dunes. Funny way that they surf olive oil, vinegar and salt at a restaurant would expect that it would come in containers by the table or that they would bring you the spices with the food. The coffee with condense milk that would be like very sweet but nice. Strange that it is so quite on the road. Wonder what all the locals is doing over there. 80 miles to travel and see nothing even the roads that is quite while traveling must feel like you are the only persons on earth at that moment in time. Would have expected more people outside in the village but to travel in it to see almost no people let one wonder what is going on... When did the owner of the campsite pitched up....

yes we have realised that simple, ideally one pot meals work best, but ewa loves to cook so when theres time we like to try more tricky things to do on one stove. No the Africa Twin doesnt safley support a tubeless system so i am carrying tubes and tools in the front crash bar bag. Having said that i tried to change my own tube at home and after 2.5 hours trying to get the bead to break i gave up and went to the tyre shop! but at least i have what we need should we end up with a problem, a garage should be able to do it for me and use my tubes if i cant do it myself. the 2024 At is now tubless
