I was at the Fenway show on Friday , all these stupid comments about Vince being washed up are just plain stupid and probably written by people who weren’t even at the show , he actually sounded pretty good , I’ve seen the Crue in the 80’s twice and Vince has never been a stellar singer live , even back then but he sounded decent Friday night , anyone who goes will have a blast !

Left out lyrics are left out lyrics. Being there doesn't make them appear..you just probably filled them in with your own singing and didn't notice

I am with you. He sounded more greater than I anticipated. I was there to enjoy them reminiscing my 80's more than anything. Folks, don't forget about Nikki and Mick's guitars and Tommy Lee's bad ass drum. So much to to praise than being another Simon.

@@suitsnheels Ya , I think Vince did good , he’s still a bad ass after all these years , Nikki , Mick and Tommy are still bringing it to , you have great musical taste , I was there to enjoy my 80’s memories as well !

I was there Saturday, he straight up sucked. I went to see them, but the other bands were far better. Not a Def Leppard fan but they saved it after Crue. Vince forgot at least a quarter of the lyrics and sounded like ass. Last Fenway show for me, sound is terrible to begin with and the concession setup there is horrible. I'll stick with the pavilion and great woods.

@@rob420bie Def Leppard played before Motley Crue not after and there’s no way Vince forgot a quarter of the lyrics , some of the lyrics he didn’t sing because he was trying to get the fans involved in singing certain parts , everyone’s a damn critic even when they have no clue what’s going on !

The bass drowns everything else out. Only good thing is they didn’t slow this song down like they’ve done with others.

I don't know that I would say incredible in general. "Incredible for Vince", yes. But he has more off days than good ones. The problem isn't his weight or his actual voice (because he still sounds essentially the same) but his effort. Not even the biggest Crue fan can deny that Vince has been hit or miss since the beginning, but the last few years have shown a marked decline in effort. All those memes and joke videos with random lyrics exist because they actually sound that way. If Mick can put forth the effort he does every night with his medical conditions, Vince should too...EVERY night.

I am a huge Motley Crue fan and was at the show last night in Fenway. Vince did not sound good at all. Actually, he may have sounded good, but the bass and the band was just so loud it drowned him out so much. He has always had that high whiney voice that we all love, and don't get me wrong the band was awesome, but it would have been much better if we could hear him actually sing.

I think Vince sounded good , if you know Vince at all , you’d know that’s about as good as he gets , as for the loudness , that’s to be expected , the headliners are always louder than the openers !

All the Vince bashing, may be worthy, but you shouldn't really bash him or the band, with all the KZread videos out there... may if you didn't do some homework (ie sample Vince's more recent singing engagements) then you should not complain. He has never been a "good" singer. He barely sings all the words, go back 20yrs...stop the bashing, you knew better. i didn't go, didn't think the money was worth it, i also didn't think listening Joe n Vince would be a memory I'd rather not have, I've seen them years ago when their voices were better n very much enjoyed then. Poison....always sounded great....but seen them enough.
