I agree. He's an awesome guitar player, but Motley Crue as a band, had a core escence. Right now I feel like they're kind of lost from such.

Motley was at its modern best on the 1992 self titled album with Corabi. But Motleys real roots lie in Too Fast and Shout. Comparing Mick and John 5 is pointless. Mick was the engine of Motley. John 5 is just playing Mick’s parts and collecting a check which is fine. But this isn’t Motley Crue and Motley hasn’t been true to themselves since they wrote Wildside.

I mean it is pretty bad. The music video is really cringe. And it doesn't really sound like motley crue. I can tell they need Mick mars. And the amount of auto-tune they're using is absurd.

Since Vince can no longer sing in tune (have you heard any of their recent performances) the band should have looked to replace him rather than ripping off their loyal fans and making complete fools out of themselves in concert. And you’re right, this auto tune crap is totally out of line!

Just listened. Vince is mainly talking through the song and the further detuned instruments probably help him as a singer. But there are certainly "enhanced" vocals. But they've been doing that to their backing vocals for decades. Face it, Vince hasn't been able to sing live since 1989 and he was questionable even in the beginning. Don't care for the song but I don't like any of their songs since 1989.

Meh its just okay. Which is just a bit sad considering the talent and time spent. Bob Rock could record a washing machine and make it rock... This is track is just okay. To put it in perspective.. if the tracks on the Other Side of Mars were thr album lineup for a new MC album.... This cut makes the album but its not the first single.

I wonder how big Mick's smile is right now...

the song is trash reminds me of gen swine album, why (rhetorical) say "if a band member leaves that is is MC is done 87' quote" or "death pact MC will never tour as MC again" then push out trash like this man i was a crue head growing up and this more painful then my last divorce.

Not what I was expecting,seems like they are trying to rush to put out songs . They need to get back to the roots with some hard riffs and good lyrics.

I thought that was Joe Biden, so yes, the entire political infrastructure is so disease ridden that I glanced at this photo and I thought that was Joe Biden, John five reminds me of Joe Biden.

Like There first albums were best and darker . They both sold out for pop and they try hard to please that group for the money ruining the entire concept . Kiss did have a few heavy and darker albums later . I don't think motley crue had a good one after shout at the devil . Same can be said for Alice cooper , Metallica ect .

Yeah. I've listened to a few Mick Mars's songs and they're actually pretty good.

For every 100 comments 99 were slamming gvthe new sound, then there was one who either didn't listen to it or NS paid them tonsay something nice... just my opinion of course.

They suck

I like Mick Mars a lot and admit he was probably one of the most talented musicians in the band. That said John 5 has more talent in his pinky finger than Mick Mars. John 5 is one of the best guitarist of all time and truly is one of the rare rock Gods who’s still a descent human being who treats people with respect. He is just as happy playing in front of 500 hundred people or 50,000 people. He just loves to make music!

Wow, just wow you even said that Paul Gilbert is 100 million times better than John five as a shredder and that’s a fact not open for debate. But yet both these two shredders do not have multiple multiple hit after hit and fans that are devoted because of the guitar tone and the expression that Mick Mars provided that was real John five is trying to catch up to someone like Mick Mars, so you were wrong. Great song.. just a lot of crybabies in the world today.. they aren't happy with anything... especially themselves.. But Ive cranked this song a dozen times so far.. Its heavy, dark , and i love the guitar.. Its very simplistic lyrics which I like, because they didn't attempt to over do it.. As far as the so called fans that dont like it, I would listen to the lyrics ."Dont let those bastards get you down"

With or without Mick, the song just isn't that good.

The song is average at best.

I like so much the new song and the video is awesome and fun. "Haters" stop hating... not like? Perfect not hear and not buy it the album. And go to the page of Mick. I love Mick but he quit the band cuz is not healthy. The new album of Mick isn't worse but is bored. Only Vince with "Exposed" and Nikki Sixx with "The Heroin Diaries" and "This gonna hurt".
