I think in film, when there's a light in the eyes of a character, that signifies that character has life (alive) i love the detail that he has 2 lights in his eyes , idk if was intentional or not, but i see it as the life of him (rocky) and his son. It can be taken any number of ways (the Life of Stallone and Rocky being parallel, youthful rocky to that present rocky, seeing himself in his son)

Rocky, telling his son a real man blames no one for his own mistakes in his life. Even if you're on your knees it isn't because of anyone but yourself. At some stage you put yourself in a position to allow for yourself to be put on your knees. However, you don't have to stay on your knees because you can take the hits and grow anyway or you can take the hits and life will paralysis you psychologically, emotionally and physically. You have to be willing to take the hits because your not a coward. Why because cowards blame everyone else for why life has beat them down. Real men push through and persevere to be victorious. Why because confidence is on the other side of struggle.
