Doesn't matter the time or place these guys are some of the most well mannered and polite I've seen from a band. I respect that.

Ricky is the cutest little shit, and the fact that people turned on the band pisses me off like... screw them it was awesome. Infamous and reincarnate are soooooooo cool and I love where the band is going as far as being unique and having their own style

"Creatures" was their defining album. "Infamous" was a huge letdown to most fans of theirs and I wouldn't be surprised if their next record doesn't do as well. I personally liked about half of "Infamous". "Creatures" might have been less unique, but I love that record.

I actually liked Infamous more just on the fact that I also listen different kinds of Music and Infamous has that. But Creatures is the album that made me a fan so it also has a special place for me. But yeah I get how people didnt like Infamous that much because its pretty different from Creatures

I agree, and I also disagree with Chris. You don't want to appeal to a broader audience. It has been proven time and time again by not just music but games, movies, TV shows, etc when you cater to the lowest common denominator, that is when things go to shit. Sure it makes more money, but what the hell happened to integrity?

If he means make it more accesible to more people I get kinda what he's saying but I think it needs to come naturally. Its not that they need to make Radio Metal or Radio rock songs, But hey he knows whats best for him as a musician.

Infamous is a much more unique album than Creatures. The fans "letdown" by Infamous are naive and narrow when it comes to metal.

Or they just didn't like it lol I'm not oblivious to that sound, I just don't think they did it well. They do the old sound better in my opinion. They're trying to cross over into the mainstream market and they're just not that band.

It is interesting seeing them being interviewed at a time where I was not at all interested in this bands music. Was not a fan of most of Infamous, and didn't care for Reincarnate either. They got me back with Graveyard shift and then kind of lost me again with Disguise, and got me back with their latest stuff. It's crazy how I can love this band so much but not like a large portion of their music.

but. i mean, i guess people (fans) "dropping them" is not as bad as it sounds. it's only bad when they trash talk the new material, but if they just leave it because it is just not their thing anymore, understandable. albeit, i think some fans who stick around through it all may just like it to be cool. i'm all for thinking on your own but i think those same fans defending the band are just doing it to stay mainstream "they saved my life, fuck with them and i'll fuck you up." props to those who are in it for the music. love motionless in white
