He hates it because he wrote it for an ex girlfriend. It was originally called Banana Montana. Very old track, that got resurfaced on creatures. I think now that time has passed, it doesn’t effect Chris anymore. Imagine however, you right such a heartfelt song about an ex you no longer even blink about. It would be cringe to sing it a lot. Now that it’s beloved, it seems he’s over that fact and except it as a fan favorite.
