I own both. Hands down the Motion Boom Plus (MBP) is way better. Not even close. Clarity, detail, and bass performance all are vastly better. I also own the Tribit StormBox Blast. It's bass and fullness are even better than the MBP, but detail is lacking. Subtleties in instruments are absent. And that's a major deal breaker. So overall it's the MBP that is the grand champ!

Hi Mark. I can definitely agree with you in regards to the richness of the bass on the MBP, HOWEVER the point of these videos is the value proposition. At almost half the price, you can two W-King speakers for the price of the MBP (depending on when you shop, of course). I still use both and enjoy the versatility of the D10 for karaoke.

U got that right Bought Boom plus from Amazon over blk Friday for $125, u cant beat that & LOOOOVES Tribit blast, more bass & meaty sound such i bought couple of them already for $160 each months ago

Tbh apart from the microphone feature which is cool, the motion boom plus has more deep bass.

You have to review on tribit stormbox blast I promise you, you will not regret

What do you think about Soundcore Boom 2 vs this W-King D10?

Boom plus i like more got crystal clean sound & highs & LOUDER alot brighter compare to D10 either way is $85 for D10 & $125 for soundcore right now

I have them both and I love the w-king the microphone works great! Great video! Both are awesome speakers.

I purchased 2 motion boom plus and returned them for the W-King D10.. I love the Wking… I can barely believe it my self! Lol

From what I heared on youtube I can't understand that decision at all. The MBP has way more clarity and the prices now are nearly the same. W-King has a bit to muddy sound for my taste. Don't know if people press the eq button on it or not

I own the d10, you can use it under heavy rain without any issues. I have submerged it in the river a few times without any issues after, not sure it's a great idea though.

Young man if you or your buddy has an android phone ya put the wking d10 on the more bass mode then go into phone sound settings. Go to adapt sound hit the under 30yrs old option it boosts the highs and makes this d10 and other w king sound as good as any bt speaker made. It's a game changer for the speaker and with that setting I'd easily take it over the boom plus which is why I sent boom plus back 2days after relieving it

I had to send my first boom plus back because of a pressure issue due to high heat pushing out the passive radiators.

And unlike the d10 the soundcore has a 9 band eq so you can find tune it to sound the way you want

Yes, the D10 has its own separate microphone volume control.

And to add on does the microphone broadcast through both speakers because when the W king detens are paired together

I have a w king d9-1 and a X10-1 ...... why does the d9 have way better bass? it literally shakes my room lol. yet x10 was suppose to be better. how disappointing today when i received it as an upgrade. Also Whats the most bass powered speaker for £99 or under? So far i have tired the w king d9-1 and one called dockin dfine. If you put either of these next to you on the couch you can feel it shake which is what I want more than deep sounding bass but more bass you can feel lol. Do you know if these are the best ones or if theres another even better? or maybe even if it has to be plugged in and its not portable as a last resort since they are normally cheaper?

@@OldManNewTech so... lol. I ordered an Amazon studio which has 5 speakers and Dolby, also 2 random 70-80w speakers and also another 100w speaker with a subwoofer in the top. Sooo Let’s see what has the most bass lol. You just told me about the tribit so I’ll have to get one of them too that is suppose to have monster bass so maybe I’ll get one of them. I’m gonna find the best bass speaker one day lol

Nice review but these two speakers are not in the same league! Not sure if anyone knows but you have to mess with the EQ settings on the motion plus to get optimum performance! The D10 is nice out pf the box but for quality and clarity the motion plus blows the D10 away

I think the specs bear out that the motion boom plus has a lower frequency for bass. So I think you’ll be impressed by the motion boom plus. And I also think that you can pair of the two still through the app so you’ll be all set there.

@@OldManNewTech No, not the plus, just the regular Motion Boom vs the D10, since they are the same price. I honestly don't plan on buying a Motion Boom Plus anytime soon, since I have a Tribit Stormbox Blast, and it is pretty awesome. I love the Soundcore Motion Boom, it's a great sounding, lightweight, smallish speaker, but I was looking at the D10 to fill a spot for something cheap, loud, and that I won't have to worry about dinging up when I take outdoors.

@@MorganaRavenheart OK. Well, if the ability to pair two Motion Booms is not important to you, I'd get the D10. However, the D10 is not 100% waterproof, which is something to consider.

Why NO to the SMB+? No TF SD card slot. W-10 has one. Winner: W10.

The D10 is 6lbs 14oz. It does not weigh 13lbs. It's not even the advertised weight of 8.4lbs.

Official response from W-King : “Thank you for contacting us. The battery is 15600mAh, sorry for the confusion,. But we recently changed to another factory, and they measure the battery with a bigger voltage, before they used 3.7v to meassure, now they use 7.2v, so the value of the number changed to 7800mAh but the playback time is the same. We made the package and the users manual according to the reports that the factory provided so that we can pass at the Custom. Thank you very much for the understanding“

@@applejuice-4706 Yeah but if you do 3.7x 15600 is higher than 7.2 x 7800. Also higher voltage means the battery life will be less. I find it crap ! they advertise 15600 mah , and now it is not !
