Nicte seems so chill at being captured. Like she's not actually in any danger. And how many spree are on that base. They infiltrated the biddies. They threatened Scylla on the base. The army might have a lot more Spree on that base than they realize.

The way Abigail went for her neck on instinct has me cackling 😂😂

That was cool! Even though I emphasize with Nicte's distain towards Alder for killing a bunch of witches on earlier mission. I would love to see a one on one Nicte vs Alder smack down (to the death). They're both responsible for the death of many innocent people/witches.

Props to anacostia for figuring it out it wasn’t tally and she just needed to light it up

it breaks my heart when looking back after first seeing the episode knowing that Nicte is really Tally and she looks so afraid and sad, leave her alone! but holy balls, great episode!! :3

I knew she managed to do a switch. Nicte is a witch with years of experience against them. I didn't buy Tally being able to beat her so easily.

FREEFORM has a really great show. No cell phones, basic CRT (TV & camera monitors). Amazing actors w/ deep storylines & plot twists. I hope they make a couple more seasons.

It seems she's due for a comeuppance. She's been presented as pushing things for too long, and as being out of touch due to her advanced age.

When I saw this scene for the first time I was skeptical and was like “😳🤨😅somethin ain’t right about this” then BIG REVEAL. I WILL CONTINUE TO MISS THIS SERIES😭

This episode was amazing I loved every minute of it. Best show ever #MotherlandFortSalem

Honestly who all thought the second they “captured “ her it was really Tally? I did right when she was acting different the second the girls came to help. It’s the spree lol so yeah. Still loved it though, when Nicta put her hands on the Tally’s unit on plane she was pissed.

Well in this case Petra's order saved Tally's life. If they had followed Alder's order Rae and Abigal would have ended up killing Tally. Nicte, using Tally's face would have successfully infiltrated Fort Salem and gotten a chance to take out Alder in what I'm sure would be a private debriefing given that Tally is the knower. Alder would want an in-depth telling of what seeds Tally saw and how she was able to overpower a witch with decades of experience like Nicte by herself. At least that's my theory on how it would have gone if Petra hadn't given her order to given Nicte back alive.

Maybe she used a lighter, kind of like how when Scylla changes her face to look like someone else. And maybe she used it on Tally to give her Nicte’s face? But who knows, maybe Nicte is so powerful she can do it w/out needing a lighter

Well she would have been caught eventually as she was already acting suspicious. Literally as soon as they took the muzzle or whatever it's called off of Tally they would have known

I thought the same too, or she could have just killed Tally in the forest before the team arrived and went back with them to the base as Tally, that would have been much easier for her to get close to Adler

I think they're idiots to be honest. The leader of the spree found by herself and captured after a failed assassination attempt on Adler? Of course she wanted to get close to Adler to try to finish the job. Why does this army send such inexperienced people in to do the most important jobs? I know they had some more experienced people who were killed off, but I thought that was done because the younger ones would be stupid enough to bring her in. And Nicte blowing her cover? Come on! She better be playing the long con with this.

It wasn't that long ago. Nicte was a few years before Petra Bellweather's class.

Why even reveal yourself here? when you could play this for a more opportune time, some bad writing at this point. The characterization dumbed down for no reason. Tally could’ve been publicly executed and she’d have dealt a massive blow without even doing much. Or personally attacked alder later since she gives tally exceptions. So bad on this part.

Actually its clear they interrogate nicte in the next episode. The second tally (looking like Nicte) talks, the ruse is done. She would've had maybe a few more hours before being discovered anyway

@@mdawggaming7908 nah that’s low effort, the spree work of face manipulation exist, everyone knows it exists. But the window between interrogation and her finding a better opportunity to strike alder is quite a massive window of hypothetically a few hours to a full day. You can’t say it wouldn’t make sense, when it clearly would make more sense than revealing yourself in front of the top brass of powerful witches where your assassination attempt is guaranteed to fail. This was a case of bad writing sorry to say so.

She’s an old and experienced and powerful witch with a vendetta and golden opportunity. To throw it all away because of emotions seems still like a regression of characterization I’d have liked to see. It felt very soap opera-ish to me how it unfolded

@@wandrinsheep there really is no way to know who’s right on her motivations. She’s not infallible though, she’s capable of making a mistake, she comes face to face with the person she hates more than anyone in the world, the rage could have got the better of her. I think as someone else said, this is her only moment. Pretty soon Nitce would have been interrogated and revealed she’s actually Tally.

I can't wait to see what the show has in store for Sarah Alder. She's just as bad as Spree leader. Nobody should live for that long (it warps the ego). Anacosta or Petra should be next General. No more biddys.

The biddys was actually the government's idea (I think) in one of the after the storm episodes they talked about how the biddys came to be, I don't trust petra at all cause she's just looking out for her own family at least with alder yeah she did Shady things but she always has the witches best interests to keep them alive

The work to make biddies comes from the Cession. In the intro map it is literally a 'grey' area. They made a deal with the government to basically be neutral in exchange for the spell. But I don't think they are. Too easy for enemies to hide in plain sight with no one watching them. Even the Camarilla got in and out when they took Rayelle.

Well I don't trust Alder. I have my reservations about Petra too. Who knows maybe let the VP & his daughter align with Anacosta. The show can go so many ways. The final battle for season 2 might be between our 3 favorite witches & Alder w/ her biddys. Maybe the magic mushroom wall can become more prominent. It doesn't really matter to me. I just don't want the show to end. It's so good!
