Intimacy is so precious. I just think culturally we have muddied the picture and lost sight of the value of intimacy and the value of us as people. To be intimate is to be completely vulnerable with another individual, and to shake this off as just an experience or just a night of fun is heartbreaking. We are worth so much more than our physical bodies and we need to look at other individuals with this understanding. I think it is unfair to also put all the blame on the girl for "putting out" and saying she is not a desirable future relationship canidate because she did so. She did not act alone when it came down to being intimate. It is just sad how intimacy is viewed and how we see each other.

It all depends but if the girl puts out without me and her even really establishing much of a connection, then I don't think I'd be able to take her seriously and would just want to keep her as hookup. I'm able to take it more serious when my interest in getting to know the person outweighs my thoughts of being intimate with them and they feel the same way.
