“You would need a business to pay for that machine, it’s not just a time saver.” Chet’s words are wise beyond his years.
The saying "watching grass grow" is now a reality for Dougo watching the fields dry, Erik watching the water sealer dry for 30 days, and Brody watching the paint dry in the bin room. I guess when the fields are wet, this is what it has come to in Spring 2024. Thanks for the great content especially showing the tile camera footage!
Randy the Master Pipe Layer Bossman
Randy the MasterPipe layer would be down for it
good to see Toby
Awesome video Chet. Was great seeing Toby out and about. You can tell his age is slowly catching up with him ❤... 🚜🚜🚜
So impressed you guys can make it work with all the troubles.
Chet it was nice to see Toby with you Today.Good Luck with all your challenges!
Thanks for keeping it real! God bless you all!
Well Doug that is mother nature and nothing we can do about that love you guys ❤
Love the video always a special treat when Dougo has the camera
So let's get the tile machine out and new tiles across those fields Nice change of pace for your video. Loved it
Keep up the great work Chet and I hope for the best
Great hydrology section. Really interesting - Thanks!
Awesome video . Thank you guys
Toby! so excited. 😁
Yo I just hope that every one is have a great day and be safe during these storms
Always fun watching Larson farm's. Fun, fun
There was quite the variety Chet, as always thanks for doing these
Great video. It was good to see Toby! You guys are a good team. You’ll figure it out!👍❤️
I hope your crops make it and you season ends up with great yields. We need the crops yall are raising l. God bless you and every farmer in the US
Awesome video really enjoy the interactions with everyone
The best way to apply that stuff is with a hand pump sprayer. Just one of those cheap yard sprayers. If you put it on a horizontal wall you want to have runs at least 12 inches and on a flat surface like a trailer you want to keep putting it on until it stops soaking it up.
Thanks for showing the LP, if you want to fill 33 1/3 forklift cylinder to fill faster, cool it off before filling, the differential pressure drop will make it fill faster, or add a Corken C12SM pump
I enjoyed watching the video Chet and Dougo 😊
Classic Dougo!!!
Always entertaining and educational.
Great ROI in field tile, it's so expensive initially. Those guys will get it figured out. It's great to see Dougo, BS & Toby!
Admirable diligence and down-to-earth personality. Congratulations!

You know, it's really telling when your DOG gets more "press" than YOU do. Good goin' guise; you know you're doin' good when THAT happens....(no, I really mean that; our dogs are so much better PEOPLE than we are...) Yet another enjoyable video, tho I don't envy your Wx.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHET AND DOUGO and BRODY 😊
Cool watching the scope out on the tiles... hope you isolate a narrow set of fixes ...
Nice to see Tobey again
Another great video. Keep up the good work guys 👍
We missed you, Toby!
Toby!!!!
thank you

On the little propane tanks. Try this if you want to first before buying a pump. Find room in the freezer. Freeze them for a couple of hours. Then. Fill them. That's the trick when refilling the little green ones. Those. You purge first. Freeze it. Then. Refill it. I am just sharing. Take care.
50/50 diesel fuel and oil, makes a great sealer for trailer floors. Used oil works fine, just makes it darker. Put it on liberally and do it every year or two, pour on and spread with a mop. Let it dry in the sun for a few days, it soaks in well and does not leave an oily mess. You can also use plain old diesel fuel, apply with a garden sprayer. Works just as well and far cheaper than buying a sealer product.
Good video!
The best way to do Thompson water seal is a pump sprayer. Like a weed sprayer and you just go over to wood done.

I’ve always used a roller with 6’ handle….spreads it even and fast. I’ve used the sprayer too, but prefer roller as less mess and even coverage. But either way would be way better than tiny foam brushes.
We use paint rollers to apply the deck treat to make it go faster
Thanks for another great video that was super interesting!!!! It was informative and enjoyable and amazingly interesting. The company you had come to investigate the tile lines was really interesting. Their equipment is technology driven and their s amazing. They doubt that blocked spot twelve feet deep. Wow. And then of course looked at other lines and tried to open it up but was blocked too much to get through. Wow. Probably going to have to do some digging to find out what has happened to the tile lines. Fun job I bet. Oh my. Anxious to hear how this comes out. Toby is really doing good. Limps a bit but believe that is from injury several years ago. He likes being at the farm and outside. The snowmobile trailer is looking good all fixed up with a new floor. Nice work guys. Sorry you are getting so much rain. 🌧️ Same here in central Iowa. Tiling wet farm ground is worth the expensive cost of doing it. I hope you fields dry up soon and you can get back in the fields. Hang in there. About it I guess. Thanks for showing us that company that had those tile line cameras and equipment. So interesting. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
great video
Hey Dougo, I'm sure you know, Bobcat manufactures 3 versions of forklifts! LPG, Electric, and Diesel too. Tile Lines, yep, Larson Farms excels in these sloppy, messy, wet and muddy projects. A Dys or 3 in the trenches with LF. Was that Big Suede on his board out there in the lake that flooded the field? Time for roto Rooter and Draino? 12 Ft deep, time for the big backhoe. Yes, blasting is always good, farming with dynamite is fun. Applying 5 gallons of cheap, bad stain on plywood, just like on a fence, use a pan and roller and Get er Done and get an even spread quickly. Been there, done that. Great video!!
Thanks for sharing. This episode is Farmyard Foreman Toby approved.
The return of Toby!!
It’s real easy to replace the bearings on that motor and bearings are cheap if you order them from IBT you just use a long arm puller I have replaced them up to 300 hp motors a lot
Ol ‘ Toby’s a high speed /low profile unit, built for ultimate cat chasing or as I call it beagle parkour 😂
Nice change of pace
Minnesota, the land of lakes.
That was fun, solutions are hard to find.
Hello, A breakwater in your lake might improve your enjoyment. For example, out from your pier a reasonable distance, parallel to the shore, drive in a 50 - 100 foot row of those locking metal pile panels. ???Maybe? Cheerio.
Enjoyed seeing a little different aspect to farming in this vid. I told my parrot, Pepper, to get the kittys, so he pooped on my shirt. Dang bird.
It’s raining, tornado, lightning and just bad weather throughout the country. Global warming is affecting the world. Great video. The the pup looks very happy

I love your videos keep up the good work
Dougo maybe you can find a 12 volt pump for the propane. You can keep it charged with a small solar panel.
👍 thanks
Wow that's a lot of water
Those cameras are amazing. We use them at work for the same purpose.
As a municipal sewer guy for 20 yrs...you need to use a "spinning nozzle" also know in the industry as a "warthog" the gap vax jetter your using doesn't put out enough volume ...you need 80-100 GPM at 3000 psi...and whatever is there will be there no more. "Vactor guzzler" equipment it the key to success.
Learn to put on all outlets of the tile lines outlet grates...also all intakes put intake grates...a must have on every one....also if the tile line comes within 50 ft of any trees....plugged with roots...need solid tile....Non perforated....and tape the heck out of each coupler....been in the tile profession. For.many many years..
You guys should have purchased an inexpensive sponge floor mop, from a box store $8, to apply the sealer to the trailer deck.
Love it
Gotta call the Master Pipe Layer... He's near by ask Zack from Millennial Farmer for his number

Propane pump?! Never heard my grandfather complain about not having a pump. He managed somehow to keep his full farming with an LP 4010 as his big horse. Before that he ran a 70 LP. I won’t argue that you have more patience than he had either! He had no patience for hogs either..
My boi’s just snapped up off the floor, hearing you say…. Get the Kitty’s.😂😂😂😂😂
Was on and ran jetter truck for 2 years for city. Cleaned out city strom drains The jetter line hadc 2200 psi
Yeah, call dirt. Perfect Mike
Chet look for a company that does hydro excavation and talk to them about day lighting the spots that are plugged there will be very little damage to the yard. I worked for a company we did a lot of lines in Iowa
------------------- I call this a ride along - nice
N 12 double wall, anytime around trees, Or shallow Worth the money
Magnifique vidéo et la machine pour les der et bien intéressante et bien 😮😅😊
3” YTD rainfall in our area. Would love to even have your drain tile discharge.
In May in southwest Iowa, my farming buddy said they've had 21.2".
WE'VE GOTTEN 20.25 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE EARLY APRIL AND YET MORE RAIN FALLING TODAY AND MORE NEXT WEEK AS WELL
Like see Toby back on the farm. Hope y’all can’t your fields dry
Brody, your heart is in the right place, but despite what they say on the can, if you can see through it, the sun can too. A stain is perfect for a job like that, just make sure it's opaque so you can't see through it. Make it brown or gray or sand color or poppy pink it doesn't matter as long as you can't see through it. The sun is the biggest enemy on stuff like that. On rubber, too but you probably won't paint your tires.
Push one is a mini cam, the other is a crawler camera with rotating head, some also have zoom capabilities. He then use his locator to pinpoint the position of the camera.
Dugo…. Lay the tank on its side with the pin locating hole down.

@trent5866

@@theburnhams2925 don't get me wrong a pump is the solution. But there is a valve inside the tank that closes while the tank is not in its functioning position.
Looks great ! Also use linseed oil
But Chet, you KNOW how "low octane" propane is...don't blame it on your hard-working skid-steer....that stuff ain't even "regular" gasoline....alternatively, get several small tanks and pay-through-the-nose (like the rest of us) for station-filled "sips" of their precious elixer...

we are getting the same amount of rain here in wisconsin the fields are like swimming pools.
Grate video can’t wait to see you dig that trench
The western diet has a grip on Tobey.
Cure the LPG problem just have a diesel forklift the whole farm runs on diesel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Dougo I know the hour long wait on the tank refill is a pain in the arse. But for the cost of a pump you can buy 10 extra tank’s for that forklift. I would just invest in a couple extra tanks save some money and just sacrifice some time for refilling them.
Have you checked with your LP supplier on a tank exchange program for the forklift? There's 4 forklifts where I work. The company has a couple dozen tanks on hand to exchange
Never ending maintenance on drain tile also can’t live without them had 15-20 horse tail root plugs in a systematically tiled quarter this spring never thought there could be that many in one field 😅
I heard that the Big Swede could fart up to 400' of tile open.
we had an 8 inch tile blocked by a dead beaverabout 800 feet in from the opening, beaver will not back up, just go till they wedge and die, good luck
Toby is getting a little pudgy! lol
🤔Pro Tip: sealing new snowmobile decks=seal both sides with garage floor paint BEFORE installing. Use rollers with extensions, not lil girly hobbie sponge brushes.

You guys deal with the same water issues that we deal with in Michigan. The land in the states around the great lakes seem to feed to feed the water shed.
Dougo’s experience shows with that pressure washer handoff to big swede
Good luck with the weather and the slow drainage. Looks like some areas are more suited for rice or maybe catfish🤔
