Love, mother, Shar. One of the other mothers was really into it, but the younger lady that was repeating the phrase, it seemed like she really wasn’t that much in the zone. I am a millennial, and a lot of millennials do not know how to pray. They do not know how to get in the spirit. Another thing I noticed was this and this was interesting. One would speak like a sentence in tongues, and mother Shar would interpret. That was different. I have been in services where someone would give a whole utterance or message in tongues, like a whole paragraph, and then there would be an interpretation. But it’s like mother Shar would interpret sentence by sentence. Almost like if one was ministering on the foreign field using an interpreter. Those of you who grew up in church of god in Christ, was that more common in earlier days? Sorry for the typos… I have no vision and I’m dictating to Siri.

I’ve only seen it happen in person in a Baptist church and an apostolic church. I go to cogic churches and they don’t pause the service for that because a lot of pastors consider it to be out of order.
