It just amazes me how much love and passion mother cats have for their kittens. They will do anything for them and protect them at all costs. It's just so amazing to see how much love there is and it make me feel just so happy.

I remember telling my mom's cat what a good mommy she was while she was nursing her kittens and hearing her purr. 😚

I recon the cat is another female who's lost her kits/has some or it's just the mother of the cat. As cats do not have a consciousness like humans do their motherly instincts come from hormones. A male cat does not produce these hormones. If that is a male cat it could be most likely killing especially if it's on its territory,

Those are bandages, not any type of ribbon. The mother is at the vet's office & had some sort of operation on the abdominal area. She still even has the I.V. needle thing in her leg, if you look closely.

Funny how the mama cats move their kittens to a new location periodically. I heard that it's a safety thing, to help protect them from predators, changing locations regularly. I always think the kittens look so funny when being carried, how they go limp and the mama cat sometimes takes a while to get a good grip without hurting the kitten. It's fun to watch! :D

Am I the only straight (heterosexual) man that prefers cats to dogs? I dont own a cat because a) my fiancé is allergic to them and b) my building wont allow it but I still love cats. In my honest opinion dogs are too needy and much dirtier than cats. I love a cat's independence and the fact they are much cleaner than dogs.

As a social worker that works with the elderly I recommend cats over dogs and pets..they are less expensive, can hunt and feed themselves and don't usually turn on their owners
