I agree with you, Dawn, but after kittens are a certain age, their mother knows that they no longer need her care and doesn't mother them any longer. They are independent. That's nature.

@@zzzbbbooo i used to think the same but after i decided to keep one of the kittens with his mom, i'm not so sure about that. Now the son is 4 years old but still tries for breast feeding occasionally. When it's agitated and meows loudly like when i try to give him some pills, mom rushes to see what happens. They play but never hurt eachother. Maybe these are just normal cat behaviour but maybe it's still the bond between a mom and its kitten.

Such a protective mama. Counting and recounting her little ones as they move toward the door. I love the kittens' sweet meows and their poky little tails that will burst out into plumes. I love videos like this which bring back memories, as my kitten's tail transformed seemingly overnight and is fluffy like this mother cat's tail now.

My adopted Tuxedo kitty's name is "Elby," which derives from "L.B.," for "Left Behind." I had two momcats and their babies on my patio for a while....11 cats in total! After a short while they moved their sweet babies but his mom left him on the patio all by himself. So adopted (by me) he was! He was frightened at first and hid and hissed at me, but only until the next day when I had a bit of inspiration and meowed at him and he came right to me! I guess he figured out that I was just some sort of hairless, oversized, but not dangerous and certainly friendly cat! Now, in a few weeks it will be 9 years, he's running the place, of course, like any self-respecting domestic god...uh, I mean cat. And within a year he's moving with me to Europe. I love my cosmopolitan kitty boy who tucks me in every night!

The closest I saw was just one very delicate "tap", as you suggest...almost looked like just a gentle touch...very subtle, almost unnoticeable. Still, the kittens were precious...despite the misleading description, & no doubt something was lost in the translation ☺️

Those kittens are about five weeks old. They don't even open their eyes until ten days old.

Such an excellent mother; so protective and careful. Beautiful white cat bad adorable kittens.

Still remember when my late 18 and 20 year olds were that small. Will always miss them both as I had them since day one until their time came.

Bless you....ive seen alot of little unwanted kittens get. Wonderful Forever homes... Im so glad when some of them get to pair up with each other forever...in the same home or barn....or boat...or Auto Garages...or Docks etc....P.S. They dont spread gossip.....😸😺😻😽😼

This is one of the drawbacks to a cat's independent streak, all the kittens are doing their own thing while mama tries to keep them from getting lost. They're all adorable, love how they wobble when they walk,. 🥰

@@adriennemiller.music. maybe you should trust that someone will read the comments, they always do. I didn't say anything against cats, I just said that they have an independent streak. It wasn't even offensive, except in your mind. I love cats and dogs equally and this was a light-hearted, not to be taken seriously comment anyway. Anyone with common sense knows that.

What a beautiful family! It’s amazing how the mama cat keeps an eye on all of her babies who love to explore their environment. It looks like she is even encouraging them to move around. These furry balls of love are irresistibly adorable. ❤️ 🐱
