This is a little tough to watch of course but the snake is just following its instinct because it needs to eat too or it will starve to death. This is nature's way of learning too. When the birds learn that putting their nests in a location like this leaves their young exposed, they will start to place them in better areas over time so that this doesn't happen as often.

A few weeks ago I was working at home when suddenly a bird started screaming in the backyard. It was ten times louder than this and I could clearly feel the panic in her voice. I thought they were fighting or something but when I ran out to the balcony I could see a magpie eating her babies on the ground. I'll never forget that sound.

My brother and I witnessed snake eating 3 out of 4 parrots. We saved 1. We kept in a bird cage so mother could feed. A couple of months later, it flew away with its mum. This was when we displaced during war. Seeing this brings back so much memorise. Life is hard and cruel. Heartbreaking.

Snakes will often eat bird fledglings if there is no rats or mice available most snakes love to find a rat nest because it’s all you can eat buffet and usually when that happens the mother will have more rat babies within a few weeks‘s for birds it maybe next year before she ever has more babies

@@abadiobessadeoliveira9154 do documentaries about animals interfere with nature here and there during their shooting? What if the snake needed food to lay her eggs or had its own babies to feed? Oh of course if the snake is killing rodents babies or cockroaches, you’d give a like and subscribe since it’s of benefit to human. There’s no right or wrong in nature.

Pobrecitos tan indefensos no pudieron defenderse y la madre ocupada buscando alimento no estuvo allí para defenderlos 😭 esta escena deja una gran enseñanza a los humanos aveces dejamos a nuestros hijos solos x darle otras cosas entre ello la comida y viene el depredador y abusa de ellos y algunos cuando están grandecito toman mal camino 😔

@@pauloconnor2980 Well quite. He didn't play with them first, or do anything else that could humiliate or cause needless pain or suffering. Each one was deftly put to sleep with a few strokes of his tongue, a deep sleep from which they'd never wake. He didn't desecrate the nest, or leave behind any bodily waste or fluids. A sweet dude, a thoughtful chap, he's no Hit & Run merchant of expulsion.

The Bulbul bird acts like this all the time, not just when their nest is empty

Mama bird better watch out, I've seen the same situation with a crane. The mother duck was screaming like this bird is over her babies being eaten and the crane ate the adult duck too...wow!😮

of course. as long as it only happens to the birds. being swallowed alive...and yada, yada, yada balance, nature. lol...but soon as a human get eaten, then fuck nature! nature bad. humans are on the menu for larger snake as well.

True love we get from mother 💕 only not others....💔

That's why I hate snakes, 😠👊. Poor baby, 😪. In my back yard I always see hawks trying to catch squirrels and rabbits, and the small birds team up and chase them away. They can't defend themselves when they're alone, but together they can scare them away. They protect one another. I just love watching them doing it.

You hate snakes? Do you hate all carnivorous animals then? Herons who are known to eat ducklings? Snakes are just trying to survive just like every species is. While it is sad, its just how nature is.

Can't finish watching the video! Poor mama bird, poor baby birds.

Do I get it right the snake is a hazard to the adult birds as well? I expected a more fierce battle, but can imagine mom and dad being carefull to intervene if they run the same risk as their youngs.

First bird was the alpha, fought the hardest... Nature can be cruel, but I understand this is the harsh reality. Snakes have to eat too, and the snake isnt trying to be evil.
