Mother Angelica never held her tongue, she stood up for what she believed and did so much for the Catholic faith. I do believe she is with God now in eternal peace. Rest well Mother: you did a great job here on earth.

I can’t believe this is from 30 years ago and feels and sounds exactly how most of us Catholics feel today. I was in middle school in 1993 but her message feels so real and relevant today. May God grant Mother Angelica the canonization because she was already a saint here on earth standing up for truth and defending the teachings of the Church.

I miss her soo much! I met her once. I have always had a tough time because I'm Catholic and Jewish and I often get cold nasty things by my fellow Catholics. I was visiting her EWTN studio years ago and I guess everything kind of welled up inside me and I stepped off to a place I thought was private outside. There I am balling my eyes out, not feeling like I belong anywhere and I suddenly feel this hand on my shoulder. Startled I look up and it's her! I never in my life could recall another human being looking at me the way she did. There was just so much love in those eyes and it was for me. She asked me what was wrong and I spilled my guts out. When I was done she was silent and I was so afraid, especially when she said, "Oh my." i start apologizing. This little Nun then said, "Let me ask you a question. Did our Lord or his mother ever apologize for being a Jew?" I told her no, she then snaps, "So stop! You're a Catholic and a Jew, just like Paul. You believe the Apostles Creed and you honor your roots. God doesn't make mistakes, you're here because he called you." She stayed with me for what felt like hours, talking to me and making me see things I never saw before. I could write a book I feel on that one encounter

Jesus cannot be portrayed as female because in the BEGINNING GOD SAID " Let US make Man after our own image and likeness . " Jesus was in God, he was in the whole Creation scene. WOMAN was created as a " helper " FIT for Adam , She was in every way complimentary to him . God created them male and female " and he saw that it was good." That should be enough.

@Steven Irizarry Mother Angelica magnifies the Lord by speaking the TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE of God. When you exalt her, you glorify and praise GOD because she is God’s creation. By the way, Catholics created the Bible so Catholic nuns, priest, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, popes who have apostolic succession and those who have Catholic theology education are the only ones who can interpret the Bible. No other people of other religions can interpret the Bible correctly..

I'm a convert to Catholicism from Mormonism, in 1993 I was a 16 year old . I was baptized into the Catholic Faith in 2004, and I got called to married life. I agree with Mother Angelica, when I grew up I had an ex nun nun teach the enneagram, Centering prayer, her husband taught Transcendental Meditation , Ascended Masters taught by an ex Jesuit Priest. I was taught all this garbage , on top of that my Mormon Bishop taught me how to pray with crystals. No wonder why I still psychologically suffer from social anxiety. I am thankful for the Ministry of EWTN, St Joesphs Communications, Lighthouse Catholic Ministry, Terry and Jesse Show, Ucantberased , Augustine Institute for helping me overcome the nonsense I was fed in the 1990s

I also am a convert from a protestant religion in 1990. I was married to a Catholic woman in 1979 and I went to Catholic Masses with her in the 1980's. I took Catholic courses in 1989 so I could be baptized. These were from a nun, the courses really didn't teach me much. For 20 years until 2010 I was not a good Catholic, I was a terrible sinner. I did receive Communion occasionally and did go to Mass often but got little out of it because I put little into it. To make a long story short, when my wife died in 2010 I had an epiphany. I started attending Mass frequently, I've also completed many Bible study classes since them. I read and listen to people like the late Mother Angelica and many other great Catholic writers and speakers often. I'm a changed person. I have little respect for men like Dolan, Wuerl, and others of authority who are trying to destroy the Catholic Faith from inside. Many times I have gone to a Catholic Mass with terrible music, women at the altar, altar girls, Communion in the hand, etc. I'm like Mother Angelica like 25 years ago, I won't take it anymore. God bless her and others like Archbishop Sheen who told the truth and didn't care who they offended. I am proud to be a Roman Catholic too.

Perhaps you could speak to a pedophile priest about that. Better yet offer up your son or daughter to one. In the last 20 years I have heard them say "thank you for calling us out on this issue, so we can correct it. The first time we said good, Then it happened again, and they basically gave the same speech. I walked away the second time. The third time I was pretty much waiting for it. I never reported it, my little brother never reported it, my parents never reported it to the police. My father approached the priest and was told he (the priest) would pray for him. It ruined my families faith that they grew up respecting. They didn't dare tell their brothers and sister or their offspring (over 100 first cousins, uncles, aunts) So all of us got shunned because we all stopped going to church. So to all the nuns, brothers and priests that knew kids were getting raped and didn't report it to police but kept the matter inhouse and in many cases blamed the children, you can go F yourselves. You helped bring the church down. When you tell priests and nuns not to do something that is part of the human condition it will always get perverted, It will always come out in worse ways. Its your own fault the church is failing. Reality is kicking in. Woke,

fallbreakfilms sadly your church has gone so far from Scripture, and is the source for three schisms, that it cannot boast in having the truth. Secondly there are more similarities among Bible believing evangelicals that unite us, than the minor differences that "divide" us. There's unity in diversity (I quote Rev. Dr. Ravi Zacharias), and every evangelical agrees with what Scripture says in regards to baptism, praying for the dead, and communion. Don't be using the futile 2,000 argument with me as it just doesn't work.

Goodness gracious, only 3? Seems conservative. And "cause" is a many-splendored thing, ain't it? Not sure why it matters to you, since "schism" to the RCC has to do with the papacy and would be a good thing according to those who have schismated. Anyway, IDC to go round and round, just take a look at where the buck stops and why. Start with the question of the formation of the Biblical canon, who gets to interpret the text, and go from there... YOU say the RCC is "far from Scripture," but why you have the gift of infallibility while the successor of Peter does not is truly baffling. Peace! FBF

When I was younger, I was lost. I would see mother Angelica on cable and had to stop and watch her. She was a beautiful soul and know she spoke to mine. Thank you Mother Angelica for your love and strength in Gods word.

She never minced words I applaud her. The bishops of her time did not support her. She accomplished things the bishops never would attempt. We need more like her.

Thanks for uploading and sharing this. Mother Angelica spoke the truth about the corruption of the Holy Roman Catholic Church back then in the 1990s. We are still dealing with similar problems today, in which people are trying to water-down authentic Catholic Doctrine, and are trying to introduce non-Catholic teachings into the Church, which are harmful to the spiritual development of Catholic Christians.

He was trying to prevent the errors of Vatican II from causing these abominations that we are seeing now, and what did John Paul II do? He ex communicated him for tryin to preserve real Catholic doctrine and Catholic teaching. He refused to accept the errors of Vatican II and the changes to the mass that cause all these travesties that we see happening today in parishes. Benedict XVI was on the right track when he lifter the excommunication. I’m surprised Francis hasn’t tried to reverse the excommunication. He will destroy the church even more and has started to by trying to extinguish the Latin mass. Thank God bishops are not listening to him and still allowing the Latin mass to be said in parishes.

She is my hero. She had more guts than any of the bishops today's except for a very few still clinging n to the true Catholic faith. The devil has infiltrated our church, that's is what my priest told me this week when I told him I am praying for all priests and clerics. To say that thee church is in crisis s an understatement, considering that the bishops themselves are involved in the dismantling of the church. We need to pray hard.

@@rraddena Yes he does, the sacraments do not mean anything when you are not part of the True Catholic Church. You also need conversion to the true faith, which states that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church. Prayers for both of you.

@@jayaplin1997 no you're wrong. He has the True Faith although incomplete due to the separation of the Eastern Churches from Rome. Those Churches are true particular Churches and do hold the Catholic Faith in essentials.

They deny the Papacy, follow a heretic (palamas), anathematize in their masses those who hold the true position on the transfiguration of light and deny an ecumenical council that must be accepted. Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino,” 1441: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives" Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi (# 23), June 29, 1943: “For not every sin, however grave it may be, is such as of its own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy.” Heretics cannot, and are not, part of the Church because they do not hold the True Faith.

This woman, Mother Mary Angelica literally gave The Church in America and much of the world an education on true Latin Rite Catholicism! I feel us slipping backwards. This Lent, let us do more fasting, more pennance and give more time and alms to our less fortunate brothers. God Bless us this 2024 Holy Easter Season and I am 61 years old and am going to get a inch long Celtic cross on my left collarbone; just in case my love of my God should ever waver in times to come. God Bless Mother Angélica and God, come to the rescue of your blind and wayward flock and her lost shepherd.

I am an Orthodox Christian. I disagree with Mother on some things, but heavens, what a brave and devoted woman! She lived what she preached, and that's becoming rare. God rest MA's soul.

...as this 2023 Synod winds down, I needed to listen to this again today to feel her strength and unwavering faith...we Roman Catholics should be able to recite what we believe as quickly and clearly as Mother does here...and she repeats this many times...Mother Angelica pray for us....

I was 20 in 1993 and I never heard of EWTN, I never heard of Mother Angelica, I didn’t know there was a liberal church and was unaware of what it was doing to me. Well, I’m aware now. Mother Angelica is right, the liberal church does nothing but destroy and it will destroy itself and we Roman Catholics will still be here after they are gone. It was written. God bless Mother Angelica and God bless the Roman Catholic Church.

I pray and ask God for her canonization and, that it be done soon as it was for Mother Theresa and Pope John Paul ll. She's earned it..... this woman could move mountains. Imagine the intercessions, conversions and Souls in purgatory she could plead to our Blessed Lord for now. Thank you Mother, from my heart and soul, for everything.

Wow, in retrospect, she blew it up. God bless her. Reading her great autobiography by Raymond Arroyo, it was obvious how supernatural her life journey was, but look at her here, a soldier of Christ, and she didn't live to see the half of it. She did not have to endure an evil pope, Bergolio. She was outraged just seeing apostasy on the horizon, we are living it. God help us.

i remember seeing this in person, we couldn't believe that they had a woman playing Jesus, That was the only bad thing though, the rest of the week was amazingly beautiful. Even the police told us that the entire time our Holy Father was in Denver that there was no crime whatsoever.

Watching this in February 2023 as a Traditional Latin Mass Catholic, I cannot appreciate Mother Angelica’s words more than I do now! She speaks my mind and my heart right now!!! I was raised in the Novus Ordo Mass for 45 years, and when they shut their doors to us during 2020/2021 for c o v i d, I found that it was the Latin Mass Parishes that kept their doors open and went to the hospitals to administer the Sacraments to the dying while the Novus Ordo priests ran away! So I went to this Latin Mass parish and discovered that ancient Latin Mass of our Saints, and I found priests with the most Catholic conviction I’ve ever seen! I’ve never gone to a Novus Ordo since except once while on vacation to fulfill my Sunday obligations. I actually walked out of that Mass for the first time in my life! They forced my husband and I to sit separately in the pews by scotch tape between us. They forced us to wear masks. Then they had an entire music band playing during the Mass, as if I was attending a concert. Then after an hour long (I’m not exaggerating) homily by a priest who seemed to enjoy the sound of his own voice, they finally gave out Holy Communion in the hands and that’s AFTER they made sure they sprayed hand sanitizer in the hands!!! I was so appalled at the blasphemous irreverent handling of the Body of our Lord, I had to leave! I was so disturbed, depressed, and horrified at what I had just saw! Only in a Novus Ordo Mass do you ever hear of these things happening. That’s not to say that there aren’t wonderful Holy Catholic Novus Ordo priests like Fr. James Altman whom I love and follow, but they seem to be very rare these days in my experience. What they are doing at the Vatican to the faith, the Latin Mass, with the dividing, gaslighting, and pitting Catholics against each other, the confusion, and total persecutions to those that want to practice the Traditional ways, the same Traditional ways and faith of the greatest Saints, is so heartbreaking and makes me angry like how Mother Angelica portrays herself in this video. Sadly this was made 30 years ago, and here we are another 30 years later much much worse off with a Pope that created the Abrahamic Family House that is so heretical and blasphemous! His positive comments on homosexuality and a pagan god pachamama while vilifying Traditional Catholics as radicals etc., etc... I find myself is such sadness. So many souls are being led to slaughter. So many Catholics today are liberal by this nonsense in the church. In my old Novus Ordo parish that I attended Mass for 20 years, I was astonished to find out that many of my fellow parishioners that went to Mass each Sunday and even Catholic friends too, thought that g a y marriage was ok!!! Some thought a b o r t i o n was ok in instances of rape and incest or just thought a woman should have the choice! NO ONE that I know that attends the Latin Mass thinks these any of things are ok! I’m not saying that Traditional Catholics are better individuals, but I will tell you that my faith has grown more than I could ever have imagined at the Latin Mass! I know what it actually means to be a Catholic! I know what it is to be a TRUE and FAITHFUL Catholic, and those in the hierarchy have no right to tell me or any other Catholic that I cannot practice my faith, but they are with penalizing Traditional priests and getting rid of the Latin Mass! Ask yourself why? How could the Mass of the greatest Saints be so awful that you would deny a Catholic and Traditional priest from the ancient Catholic Mass of about 1500 years? I can’t help, but conclude with a very heavy heart that the motives at the Vatican are not Holy. I pray for the conversions of Pope Francis, the hierarchy, for liberal Catholics, and our church. Ave Maria! ✝️
