    Chelsea were not performing under Lampard. People said the same thing about the Chelsea players not being good enough or not trying. Then they brought in Tuchel. He whipped them into shape, starting with the defence.

    ManU have drifted back to the state of being a roster full of players who have performed much better for a different manager. Ole temporarily solved that issue, to his credit, but now he has become the biggest part of the problem.

    Fergie always knew when to use players when they're in good form, think of Macheda, he scored a hat trick Vs Newcastle reserves, Fergie brings him out of the blue Vs Vila and he scores the winner and scores the winner next game - that's 6 key points that helped won us the title. Now think of Lingard, clearly flying after his stint at West ham, brings him on and he scores the winner Vs wolves, hardly plays next bunch of games. Your can't play your favourites if they're playing shite!! Make them earn their win. Unfortunately, he absolutely deserved to be sacked.

Egos and individuals over a cohesive team is one of United's biggest problems and Ole did nothing to address that problem.

    Nah, it's fine., When Mou was dealing with his players, it's his fault that they cant perform, when it's Ole, it's the players. It's Man United fans, when you have a tough manager that demands the best, you think he's screwing up the dressing room and you add on to it. The players need to be slammed for not performing, you condone them and blame the manager? And now, you blame the players and sympathize the manager because he's a nice guy? Enjoy mediocrity.

  • @Footie4ever

    @Footie4ever

    It’s the character of the players. You have someone like Lindgard, whose posting pictures of westham during the Match and doing dances after scoring. Pogba, whose always more worried about his hair than his skills on the pitch. Bruno, whose apologizing and is always trying to be politically correct on social media. Maguire, who is the captain who acts like a kid, and is also always trying to be politically correct. Where are the likes of Keane, Scholes, Rooney? No bullshit, just character and real man trying to win every single game. You’d see these kinda characters in Liverpool, City, Chelsea but not in United. United are kids with Ronaldo and De Gea.

    There’s no doubting Ole’s commitment to, and love for, Manchester United Football Club and its fans. There will be scarce little rejoicing among United’s fans, torn between loyalty to a club hero and the business of winning. Those fans will always claim Ole as one of their own, and good on them for that. The question now is: who can motivate and invigorate a group that has shown little in the way of commitment or love for the badge and fans?

    what micheal owen says is true. the man utd now have no characters, no leaders and a clueless manager who doesn't have a system. he's doing the cardiff. good players doesn't become good managers. ole's needs to go. i don't see any "fergie spirit" in him like how those ole supporters claimed. shaw, maguire, fred, rashy, martial and lindelof should never play again when the new manager arrived. ole is favouritism on some of these players which could cause doom and keeping unused players on the bench, something is not right here. ole's time is up. he should have stick with molde because man utd is a club too big to manage and ole's haven't got that qualities. the players are not to be blamed, it's the manager. keeping players (mata, VDB, matic, lingard, telles, henderson, cavani) on the bench instead of selling away to get better players and playing underperforming players on the pitch just shows that the problem is ole, the manager. this is not about ole's a nice manager, it's about the results and a chance to challenge for big things.

He should have been sacked after the Europa League debacle coz the platform was built and we needed a winning manager to take the feel good vibe forward. Instead, we kept this manager who can't compete tactically with most of the PL managers and his lack of tactical nous is showing up real bad. Sadly, #OleOut

    United's team problems are in defense and in midfield. Everywhere else they're exceptional and have the quality. I don't doubt that there are managers in world football who would relish this task of returning United to their former glory, the club has the funding, a good academy strong backing by the owners, global fanbase, globally recognised branding and a rich history. Problem is that thes managers they're all taken and in full time roles at this very moment. Lets wait till the summer to see who gets the job on a perm basis.

To summarize, as MO puts it, Ole dose't come close to being in the top 50 managers in the world...& he was given this opportunity! It leaves me wondering; who are these exes making these decisions? Lastly, most of the players are not worthy of playing for the club. There're lots kids in the streets of Brazil who would give anything to be in their shoes for a fraction of their pay. Sad!
