1916 for me is still THE classic motorhead album which introduced me tho the band. No voices in the sky was an instant favourite of mine. This one will stay with me until the end.

The 1916 Recordings were followed by 3 shows in NYC @ The 'RITZ' on 51st STREET . Lemmy pledged to the crowd that he would return and play in NYC every year for the rest of his life...AND HE DID !! I met Lemmy a few times....REALLY REALLY GREAT MAN !

Now Motörhead are playing in the sky, Würzel, Phil, Eddie and Lemmy.

Remember them playing this song live back in the day. Used to come out of Motorhead concerts with my ears ringing. Thirty years later I have tinnitus. Rock and roll is dangerous... to your hearing.

We will never, NEVER forget you, the fucking legend that you are, Lemmy!

This song is criminally underrated, by the band themselves too. I saw Motorhead live about 16 times and they didn't play it once.

Why is this video so underrated?

This is one of their best, more Motörhead songs, and less known by people, along with Boogey Man, Buried alive, Back at the funny farm, Make my day...man! They have quite a lot mind blowing songs!!! Forever Motörhead!!!

I saw this lineup in a Bar on Long Island w/300 people in it, "Lamour Far East', Feb.1988, GREAT show. I Froze my ass off waiting for the doors to open @ 1AM COZ the P.A. company did not show up. Motorhead played till 4AM, did not stop once..played the entire Rock N Roll recording too.
