Dr. Badawi is a leading contemporary translator of Islamic and Sufi texts. His works include the Book of Assistance, The Lives of Man, Key to the Garden, and Degrees of the Soul. He studied under many shaykhs, foremost among whom is the late Habib Ahmad Mashhur al-Haddad.
