The US Off Road Series Racing Style reminds me of the "Stadium Standoff" Head-To-Head race in Monster Jam: Urban Assault.

I think that course would do really well on all Northern California speedways definitely would be epic to see

Couple other weird ones being 1987 TNT Louisville Speedway, it was a J-Hook but the jump lane was long, and the start lane was half the length. Cleveland TNT 1987 (used other times but just an example) trucks raced over multiple rollers going on the outer edge of the baseball field. (This style of racing wasn’t very fair as one lane was longer than the other.) 2008 Monster Jam had a whole slew of unique designs as well. One more example is the LA Coliseum (2012 or 2014 I think) when the trucks raced up the stands and through the massive pillars, around the outside of the track, and did over-under. Great video man!

Wow, those track designers have such creativity! Despite Monster Jam now becoming like NASCAR with their stadium and arena series reputation, causing the tours to be repetitive compared to its past, the track designers sure now how to make a racing track creative and competitive. Question: What is your favorite track design?

One of the most unique racing layouts was when stadium super trucks had the monsters in a few shows backs in 2012/2013

As a long time Wildwood, NJ resident, I think the reason why Thunder on the Beach uses the S-style is because of the fact that there's surprisingly a box with the stands/boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean going from north to south, and Mariners Landing and Adventure Pier forming the box Edit: also there's a challenge with sand compared to dirt, clay and asphalt

I think it’s was at the LA Colosseum where drivers have to up the grandstands 🏟️ and go back down to the main field

@ 16:27 That’s was at Arizona State University Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ. I wish monster jam would return there especially since they renovated the stadium. I know they go too State Farm stadium now but still it would be dope.

You should do a video on the Monster Jam Thrill Shows (most notably the second Houston shows from 2008 to 2012) where there was no Racing, but rather Wheelie and Donut competitions and Freestyle, along with side events like Pro Stadium Truck Racing or ATV Racing/Quad Wars, Freestyle Motocross, and the Cybersaurus

The under over course that was seen at the monster X tour in Chico ca is the coolest because that’s my home town i see it in 3 different versions 1normal perfect track 2 dry and windy 3 wet and rainy each show was awesome and the line up over those 3 shows was top notch

Mike Vaters with Monster truck invasion, had a unique Chicago style in Hagerstown MD last year. They built ramps that went over the guard rails of the speedway track!! So they had to navigate a 180 turn as they went over the ramp. It was awesome to see!!!

You should do the evolution of black stallion

Might be recency bias, or hometown bias, maybe both, but the track Monster Jam used for Stadium Series West that debuted in Houston, TX back in October of 2023. This track layout is unique, and I wouldn’t mind it being used in independent monster truck shows

I absolutely love over under, it really plays nicely for tv I think

I saw the Glendale Robert Gordon Stadium Super Truck Series with the monster trucks. It was a combination Over-under and off-road style course. I also saw Vegas style (several times at Glendale and once in World Finals 13), Crazy-8, Desert/Anaheim style and the modern version of it. That said to me the most ICONIC style and one I'm mad that as a fan 35 years now that I've never seen live, Figure-8 style as made famous at the old Louisville Motor Speedway. What I would give to see a modern version of this iconic course today.

I'm split on "Off Road Style". On one hand, it's a thing in the RC world (shoutout to Matt Stoltz and Losi, the Official RC of Monster Jam!) but I don't think it translates well to the big trucks both for safety (4 trucks on the same track? Yikes!) and space use. some styles are brilliant like the "smooshed 8" and the S and Z tracks. some, like that weird half moon that Throwdown tried, are actually kind of dumb. EDIT: You forgot to mention "Baseball style" from 80's USHRA shows. The trucks would start at different halves of a baseball diamond, go over their own set of cars, cross over in the outfield, go down the opposite lane of cars, and meet at home plate. Produced lots of good racing and managed to be west coast exclusive somehow.

Drag racing will always be my favorite

I say the last one on the video is cool that's really cool to watch

Going inside and out the stadium kinda reminds me of path of destruction circuit races

You forgot to mention that Salinas used the Over-Under Style track once in the 2013 Central Coast Motorsports Spectacular.

I know one truck in particular that used to go into the wall during a figure 8 racing more then I can remember 😂

I went to the 2017 Back to school bash at Charlotte I remember the obscure truck of War Machine which looks exactly like Shaker.
