+Serena Tsukino they are all from different companies, its impossible for them to stay together as a permanent group because it just really difficult to keep up the schedules etc. Basically, their companies want to milk money through their own gg but all those ggs are probably gonna be a flop.

I understand that I.O.I was just a temporary group from the beginning, but you cant just put them together and break them apart after a year like that.... come on they are humans. Last Hahaha exactly my point. A lot of people didn't watch the show. They're disbanding because Mnet got bored and didn't know what to spend their money on anymore so they decided to make a show about trainees from many different companies competing to debut. 11 out of 101 contests were chosen to join a group and promote for a year before disbanding and going back to their original companies. Some will of the members from IOI will go back to being trainees or debut in groups that are already formed such as DIA and WSJN, and etc.

its so weird how many people think of ioi as an old snsd, and i get that same feeling too! they are so hardworking, such pretty souls, what a pity they have to disband :(

why do y'all complain so much? as a fan of the show and the group, we all,knew this was what was gonna happen. and besides, these girls did it for exposure under their company name. splitting off into respective groups and solo activities, and reuniting every so often as IOI will just give the members more income. also, sad to say but some of the younger girls on the group were not ready to debut yet...they just made it up the ranks due to being on previous shows or simple company recognition. and tbh, i'm tired of watching Doyeon and Nayoung get played every time theybrelease. 11 members is too much. they didn't get to show off individual charms in the songs bc they were all conforming under certain concepts. I look forward to them reuniting but I need them to branch out so I can see what else they're capable of.

Woozi Coozi Well companies make these huge groups so It's not their choice of how many members are in the group. And 11 and 13 is a lot of members which makes It harder to show talent from each member then if there was a smaller group.

I really liked them but decided not to stan them cuz of the fact I knew they were going to disband

Since pd101 days I tried to remember that they would have to disband at some point, but I really didn't think it was gonna be this hard, just hearing them say this kind of things makes me really sad, there's really a great connection between them and they have a huge potential as a group you don't have to be a genius to realize that, it's pretty obvious because all the things they accomplished in just a few months Just hearing them being so unsure as of what their future in the idustry is gonna be after I.O.I its what breaks my heart the most, they have gone through a lot and they deserve to have a decent debut and just be happy doing what they love, even if they are not together. I just really wish the best to them in whatever happens after this stupid disbandment I.O.I FOREVER 💙

Thank you for making this tribute for I.O.I, it was really well made. IOI was one of my first girl groups that I've stanned, ever since I watched Produce 101. I've noticed the way they bicker and laugh together, they really are one team. Especially for IOI, they must be extremely emotional about this disbandment because they been through everything together, they've danced and sang together, they became a kpop group TOGETHER. It's really sad for them to let go of each other. As a IOI Stan, I believe that this isn't the last time we are going to see them on a stage. I'll pray for the success for all of them. IOI HWAITING

I've followed 11 of them since produce 101. They were my top 11 from the beginning and 2016/04/01 was the happiest day of my life as 11 of them made it in I.O.I. Yes, I have been fucking suffering from this pain of shit since that day.

I really want IOI fandom name as FOREVER. Their hardworks and loves as 11 member of IOI will stay forever in our heart ♥♥♥

i'm not even a fan, i'm just a casual listener who unconsciously memorized their names but I had goosebumps while watching this video 😭 i might sound mean but when i.o.i debuted, i kind of waited for them to disband bcs i want my favs to debut asap (lol sry i regret it) i wasn't interestes in them cus dream girls wasnt my cup of tea but if they debuted with a song like the one they performed in candy man idk i forgot the variety show (not the hip song, the other one) i'd def stan them. it's hard to stan a group that we initially know will eventually disband so i've never stanned them. i only liked them when whatta man era came (the main vocals werent even there but slayed) and bopped to very very very atleast everyday. the girls mustve been through a lot, they worked hard and debuted in i.o.i in which they knew from the very start that they'll disband. the girls created so much memories together that it hurts to accept reality, hurts to accept that theyll eventually disband. sad to say all of their efforts will lead to --disbandment-- but aren't we glad that i.o.i exists? that i.o.i were able to release catchy bops? i.o.i will disband but that doesn't mean the girls won't be able to interact and communicate forever. the important thing is that we enjoyed listening to their songs as well as enjoyed being an i.o.i fan (not a fan but ok, im referring to you guys) most of all, glad that i.o.i exists. 😭😭😭

I don't even stan I.O.I and I haven't finished PRODUCE 101 but i love their music (except DG bc that one was too sugary. istg), their personalities, their unity and their bond. Its nice seeing people from different companies coming together and being friends and debuting at the same time but yeah, its all for the company's and girls' benefit. The heartbreaking pain from their group's predicted disbandment is just reality's slap in the face, reminding them that Happiness can't be a permanent thing. Don't get me wrong, I love the girls, I love me some Sohye Chungha Somi goodness but from the very first second when I heard about this show about girls competing for just a YEAR of being debuted in a group, experiencing all of the love and adoration, I knew the heartbreak was going to come and I didn't expect my shirt being soaked in so much tears, hearing their voices saying 'will i ever meet these kinds of people in a life time?' 'will our paths ever cross again?' and things like that and i'm just here */intense crying and sobbing loudly/* TT - TT

Looking through the comments, I see that a lot of people don't know why I.O.I is disbanding. I.O.I was originally formed through a TV show called Produce 101, just like Twice is from Sixteen. Produce 101 was a project including 101 trainees from different agencies and companies, including JYP, Jellyfish, and many others you might've heard. These girls went through a lot of stages and challenges to debut. When I.O.I debuted, there were 11 girls from different companies. But usually idol groups like them debut from one company. Their contracts were only for a 1-year debut, and then they all go back to being trainees in their separate companies. This is such a sad thing for me, as I love these girls together. Sohye has even worked so hard to be in this group, and debut. Somi had already gone through losing in Sixteen and finally got the debut she deserved from this show. All of these girls are talented, and I hope we get to see them together again on TV in the future even after I.O.I disbands.

When Produce 101 came out, I did not watch the show and I did not pay attention to I.O.I at all. Then Whatta Man came out and it grabbed my attention. After watching Produce 101 and Weekly Idol, I absolutely fell in love with these girls and watching this video made me cry. I know how they feel. My best friend in the whole world will be moving away soon and starting her own life and I'll have to say goodbye and know it's the end. It hurts to know that each day that goes by is just a day closer to the end. These girls must be in so much pain. I wish they could just be a group forever. And they were so successful too..it's such a pity that the Korean industry focuses more on the product than the artists...

ahhh, this hurts me so much.. I've watched these girls grow as a group, it hurts so much knowing there's not much time left! watching produce101 pained me alot, they've all gone through so much. its just so sad ..

Ohmygod I'm tearing up. This is the only girl group who's bond is just unlike any other. They fit so well naturally and work really well together. They're already successful so why break them up? I honestly though whoever is in charge of this group will surprise us with a comeback later on and say 'This group is very successful. Let's keep them.' And I hope they're sitting in a meeting right now thinking this through. It would be a win win for both fans, the girls, and the labels who put them together.

its not easy to knock on fantagio's,pledis's and jyp's door or from any company who own the girls thats already debuted and asked, "hey,can we take the girls cause they hv what it got". training a trainee consider a lot of spent too.when they debut,they wont get fully paid until theyre debt with company finished.and honestly the company who raised them and taught them.the motive of this project was to exposed them to idol life and fame.help the prepare.dont say its unfair.

too hard to do. too much money and most of the girls are in other groups which causes schedule conflicts and inconvenience. Besides they can't neglect their main group. Each of these girls and their main group are rookies which is a critical period in gaining fans.

Min Q I.o.I is a group, and they are the group. Project 101 picks 11-12 people out of 100 girls to be in one group, but the contract only lasts a year. it's a project. but in five years since they're going to different groups and stuff, they'll perform again for fans

Not lying, I cried everytime I go on KZread cuz the first video that pops up is related to I.O.I Even though everyone thinks the journey has ended but maybe it's just a new chapter. I will wait for I.O.I cuz I'm a fan of them. But being a fan isn't being there at the beginning, it means to be there till the end. And that's what I'm gonna do. I will wait for you guys.

All these negative comments about I.O.I but everyone failed to see how gard they work to grow and improve each other. They might be going there separate ways but these girls kicked ass a group and won over everyone hearts with beauty and skills.These girls made memories others wish they had. So before you sit there and bash on them about disbanding put your self in there shoes and you will see how hard it is to leave people you gad and incredible bond with over the year. I'm a fan of them from the beggining of pd101, and somi since sixteen. These girls are the best, one of the best kpop gg.This group is full of talented people, sadly they have limited time to promote and showcase their talents. Until now, eventho I know it's really impossible, I'm still hoping that they will stay as a group, that later on they'll surprise us by saying that they will not disband anymore.

i get you soooo much.Sejeong & Mina must be in a dilemmma. I mean they cant help but feel at home with IOI but their final place is with gugudan.I feel bad for the other members of Gugudan too,they work hard and hardly get noticed.Both parties are trying hard to blend together as a group but there is this mental gap between them that i worry sooooo much bc deep down even when gugudan is doing quite well,sejeong and mina(esp. sejeong) would still wonder what if IOI is permanent.Bc I could sense that they are happier with IOI (esp. sejeong) & other gugudan members must have sensed it too(The two IOI members lack MENTAL COMITMENT to gugudan) & that could meant that gugudan would have a harder time bonding deeply as a group bc of second thoughts mental+emotional gap between them

The gap of popularity between sejeongmina and gugudan is too much sejeong mina already have their own show and a lot advertisment with ioi somehow even when doing reality show sejeongmina often known as ioi member .. Even when gugudan have birthday party for gugudan member sejeongmina is not there how can gugudan build bonding .. I ever see that sejeong crying because ioi disbanding on fans video i just want to know how gugudan member feeling whrn they see it.. Well i'm not sejeong either but i think everyone have their right way as for me i think it will be better if ioi member not in other girlgroup ..at the sametime atleast

i know right. I mean I have always supported the jelpi girls(even through pd101 days) I was happy when sejeong & mina got the recognition but now I feel conflicted bc i want them to be with gugudan ( and buils a stronger bond )but at the same time its kinda painful to see them together when they seem to prefer to be with IOI.I cant help but feel pity for the other members it seem as if they debuted on the name of Sejeong's and Mina's impact I just dont want gugudan to start off with a rocky start.

Yes i feel you.. But gugudan member is one of a kind.. Great personality lets just believe in them .. Pray and support them because they worth it .. Their next album will be booming and get acknowledgment of the world for they ability and talented entertainer

Eve Tan The reason Mnet made the group is the same reason any group gets made; to make money. The companies only leased the girls to Mnet because they had no immediate plans for them, however once the girls got ultra popular some of their companies debuted them in groups to capitalize on their fame. The reason that the girl's companies want them back as soon as possible is because the share of the money they'd usually get from sales/activities is all going to YMC.

Namjoon now is not the time to practice cutting onions with Jin.

Probably their own company will see a chance and form a new group and they are going to get more working opportunities. As trainee, they really have to grasp every possible chance. I.O.I is a way to open the door to the real entertainment industry.

sohye worked soooo hard for this, of course the other did too, but sohye worked the hardest. she couldn't dance and sing at all, but now she had the confidence to do so even though antis try to bring her down. she taught me a very valuable lesson, which was to never give up. I really hope those that Stan only a particular member supports the others' and we will be loyal to ioi forever ❤️

they're only a 1 year project group. each member comes from 11 different companies. after they disband they will come back to their own companies and debut solo or with a different band.. 😢

Jeff Rahmon Yoojung got fatty liver presumably from the stress and lack of sleep. Somi had low blood sugar for a few weeks from her "diet".

Even though i am boy i was never into the girl group only boy group but i finally got into ioi bcoz of sohyee❤️❤️....But sad now they are going to disband My 1st Love😔❤️😷😷

Oh shoot, I didn't know that they are just a temporary group;;; (Is that why you could find their MVs only on 1thek?) God, this makes me so sad, my little brother is a fan of them too, but I think that it's better if I don't tell him that they're gonna disband :(
