Yeahhh, I doubt that laptop still works after all that. Even if the box was unbreakable, the forces from all of those impacts were still transmitted into the components of the laptop.

I absolutely figured Liquid nitrogen would work on the box because things become far more brittle when frozen. In fact exposing the box to extreme temperatures on opposite ends could potentially damage the box just based on what that can do to an aluminum can. But yeah, freezing it and hitting it really hard just works.

But does the laptop still work that’s the real question

No it wasn’t, if you look at the camera cut at 10:14 you’ll see it in both of their hands on the laptop then when the cut happens James is right in the middle pulling it straight up and the other guy is further away. It was a nice retake but if you look closely you’ll see it was refilmed.

I just want to see the Master Chief's Rifle, because the Halo Builds are the most amazing ever. But I would love for you guys to actually build a Full Metal Gundam Armor, and than hydro dip in it some spray paint.

but the plasma cutter is way more precise than just melting off the whole side of PC. and they just got rid of the metal strips, the PC box was broken with LN2 and force.

i want hacksmith to make a battlebot for 2 reasons 1) seeing the team compete in a show that fits what they do on YT so well would be interesting, as well as making a series of how they came up with it and built it could get a lot of people into robot combat. 2) it'll be a fun new smashy toy

dang that was great. Though i was looking foward to seeing you turn on the laptop afterwards. also technacally the storngest shape is a trangle so i would think it would be the best to build a unbreakable box. Another suggestion would be to make it a sphere so the corners and enges wont be exploitable.

8:29 the Hacksmith: "This ia almost -300 fahrenheit." People who use the metric system: "Alright, then. Keep your secrets."

I don’t think people realize how truly expensive dipping that box in liquid nitrogen really was

Not very. Liquid nitrogen costs about $1 liter if you have the equipment.

Dell also has engineers and a lot more resources to fund them. Also keep in mind that the Hacksmith team could have easily broken it if they weren't concerned with making an interesting video that fits their other content.

The box wasn't nearly as unbreakable as other's they have done. They are only saying that because Dell sponsored the video. It was only difficult to get into because they didn't want to damage the laptop within, which isn't something they had to worry about in the past.

I have been watching The HackSmith for years and I still cant figure out how many darn hammers they have!?

The whole time I was just thinking “Use the damn power loader!” So when they finally did I was really happy… Until I saw a lack of results despite it being run over and used as a brick smashing tool.

Oh common, you've gotta show the laptop working after all that... I'm assuming it didn't make it 🙁

I remember the early gens of these rugged laptops back in the 90s. We were selling ones that were designed for even electrical workers that would survive a drop from the top of the electrical poles.

@@baseballjustin5 Since we were reselling we were not going to test that. But they had manufacture videos with them being dropped or run over in several fields. What I do find interesting is the size of the laptops then and now look identical.

Course my first Toshiba laptop with a 386 processor was about 3 grand and it was a normal. Yes I actually still have it and years ago I upgraded to Windows 95 LOL Funniest thing is it has a trackball extension module

If I wanted to see someone drop tech during an unboxing, I'd watch LTT

some day i want to see a pro use the power loader in a practical manner or some form of tools or attachments for it.

I've wanted to see if they could make projectile lightning through a heated Lazer since current can move through plasmas.

Imagine if they just whipped out an M1A1 Abrams and shot clean through the Laptop.

"Gravity is no match for this box" Its also no match for fridge magnets but ill let it slide xD

We all know that laptop didn’t boot afterward. All Dell really proved with this is that their box is rugged, not their laptop

I would love to see them do an unboxing video like this but drop it off on the highest building they can find

"close to being unbreakable" spends more then half the video just doing blunt damage to a blunt damage resistant material made box, even when they know this isn't going to work

I think what you guys did to it was DEFINITELY way more than it was rated for, honestly amazed the computer is still in one piece, and looking good outwardly. Top notch construction Dell. Even though it may not be working looks like it MIGHT be easy to repair……..MIGHT. A tiny sliver of a chance 😂

The fact that they didn't show the cpu turning on tells me it probably couldn't after all the beating. Still, was quite funny.

Using the arrows made me think about Hawkeyes trick arrows from Marvel, that would be a nice different hacksmith project

That bow and arrow reminded me of one of my favorite arrow types in game, being bomb arrows from the zelda games, I think it would be the absolutely coolest if you tried your hands at a detonating arrow tip if possible😊
