Most students overlook this to verify an identity
Sometimes students don't always know what to look for when verifying an identity. In this video we will take a look at what you can do when you need to get rid of your denominator.

Make Sure You Pick the Right Identity - kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqaDr8qjj5i-l7w.html
As-salaamu Alaykum WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUHU Muslims. Man, yesss that's a great technique. Especially, the factoring of "sin" part.
My teacher told me the best method is to simplify ratios into sine and cosine and the steps after that come natural Like here (Sinx+sinx/cosx)(1+cosx) (Sinxcosx+sinx)/Cosx(1+cosx) Sinx(1+cosx)/cosx(1+cosx) Sinx/cosx Tanx
I am literally looking at this stuff right now thank you so much! You’re the best!
Thank you @Brian McLogan. Your teaching is just phenomenal and its amazing that you're teaching this as im learning this right now aha. I appreciate your content as a 26 year old back in uni going through precalc as a refresher 🙏
Love u Sir, From INDIA 🇮🇳

Awesome you are very welcome!!
L.H.S = (sin x + tan x)/(1+cos x) = tan x (sin x/tan x +1) / (1+cos x) = tan x (cos x + 1)/(1 + cos x) = tan x = R.H.S
Ok, you made it more complicated. Please do the same question without rationalizing. Thanks.
Isn't (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2 so where the 2ab is in this video, you just directly put (a+b)^2=a^2+b^2 like what..., am I missing something?

What timestamp are you referring to?

@Brian McLogan first one was at 2:15 and second one was 5:40 in which twice you put (1-cos)(1+cos)=1-cos^2 but isn't that 1-2cos+cos^2 due to the law of binomial.
I needed this video so bad
