Most Stable IKEA Bed Frame?
So far, this Brimnes Bed Frame from IKEA is the most stable one I reviewed to this date. So in this review, I'll be going through some of the things I noticed about this 4 drawer IKEA bed frame. The first thing that caught my attention was that you sleep a bit higher than other bed frames from IKEA that I reviewed in the past. The thickness of your mattress does play a factor but even when I installed the support rails on the lower level, I still found getting out of bed was pretty natural. I'm six feet tall but in my opinion if you're a taller person, getting out of bed will be more comfortable than say an IKEA bed that is lower to the ground.
Another thing I noticed about this bed frame that I wished was a bit more stable or secure is the slatted bed base. By this I mean that each end of the bed base doesn't hook on tightly as say other beds I reviewed from IKEA.
One more minor issue that some people may not like about this bed frame, is related to the drawers. The drawers open and close pretty smoothy but the problem is that they wobble side to side quite a bit. This gives off the feeling that the drawers are made of cheaper quality. All in all, I think it's a pretty good bed frame other than those minor issues that I mentioned above.

I have this exact bed frame for almost a decade & it's still holding up like the first day I bought it. I made my own headboard with ample storage.

Was just about to order this but it's not available for delivery. I guess I'll save a bunch of money and keep using my old bed.
I just need to know if this will hold up when I'm being taken to pound town.

Oh it definitely will, just watch out for maybe jumping or throwing someone on top of the mattress, the slats are strong as hell but I don't think it's wise to test it

@@bryt-tney1656 that’s strange. Mine is like rock solid. That thing doesn’t budge. Sucks when something falls behind it though because I can’t move it on my own. I have the queen

I’m from Canada you have the option between the basic Luroy or the more expensive option lonset . I have the lonset options it’s more heavy duty and secure.

Is it noisy ?
if you have your own boxsprings can you not get the slates and put them directly on the metal?
When opened is it unstable, noisy and wobbly or is it quite solid?
I have the same bed and I have a extra mattress to support the comfort because I find the mattress from ikea are not comfortable but all it’s a good bed frame and my dog is 60 kg so he can jump on it and it’s fine
