Better to have overkill and bump up output than lose signal and the aircraft.

Ive used nothing but akk on my drones my favorite is the akk Race Ranger 1000 mw and it worked flawlessly for a yr or so took many crashes and ive used other ones also akk x2 as well

I’m curious what 20,000mah can do on a fixed wing. 🪽 😎 Years ago someone flew an RC plane with GPS guidance from Greenland to Ireland to achieve a world record for RC. I wonder how much W you need to make it FPV across the Atlantic ? Also, what kind of clearance you would need lol . 😆

Oh man i only have 7 inch quad i didn't finish the video yet lol but i would stull like long range and need help to do it

I've not glown in a few years but i still have all my quads will this work with my taranis x9d plus graffiti transmitter all my quads are frsky and is it easy to do i never could get my crossfire to work so i sold it but i would love to have long range it would get me flying again also if it is hard to do can you point me in the right direction to someone i could hire to do yhis for me im not that great with computers betaflight is as far as i went on computers thanks 😢 need help 😢

Great review! The only quad I could see using this probably has a fuel cell. Fixed wing would probably be more practical

u quadruple power for every time u double distance..1/2 multiplly by 4 is 2... take that 2 and multiplly by 4 is eight.(8w is basically twice that of 0.5 watt in range, line of sight) .to triple take 8 multiply by 4 again,, 32watt. so to politely correct your statement..its twice of 0.5 w..

I got really excited when i first saw these but someone hinted they may be intended for one way trips...if you know what i mean.

There are a lot of 1 way drones out there these days. However if you are a hobby pilot that kind of power could give you possibly the most reliable fpv feed ever lol! - I would be amazed if it shows static on the screen at a half mile out. I never even dreamed of 10W. And here they are doing it. It's actually crazy. What's next? 50W? Let's goo Akk!!!!

Hello

So, the FCC has mainly ignored the FPV world of video transmitter usage unless certain lines are crossed. After all, how many people flying all of these vtx actually have a ham license in the unite states? And many have been caught and fined? The number is close to zero, because flying on 5.8ghz on or around 1watt is realistically harmless. This VTX is literally 10 times the legal limit, and the chances of stomping on someone who will find you for doing so go up exponentially. It is well established that the FCC hates products like this aand has purused it in the past. They stuck it to GetFPV's lumenier brand years ago. The market shifted after that, VTXes that were sold with L-band and higher than 1-watt completely disappered... Don't get me wrong, the product itself looks very well made. I am just concerned about drawing the FCC's attention once again toward FPV. Where do the power increases stop? There are so many things that you can do to get great range by just using good antennas, a tracker, etc... that I also question why we 'need' this product on the market in FPV given its illegality in most countries. If you're using it and are caught, AKK will bear no responsibility. Just something to think about.

I think to buy and use this in the US. You would need some sort of FAA waiver for industrial, commercial or government contract use. 🇺🇸👍🏻

10W in 5.8ghz is equal to 2.5w in 1.3ghz , i see 4w vtx in 1.3ghz !
