@CSUNLIMITED That’s true, he doesn’t have as much success on rap charts as normal charts though. Likely because most of his airplay occurs on pop stations. Also worth noting hip-hop events probably don’t play him as much so his playlisting on specifically rap playlists might not be as good as his overall placement. This makes sense because rappers like him Post Malone, and Drake have primarily non-rap fan bases, which allows more total sales but less opportunities within the genre. But Drake’s urbanized sound is probably a contributing factor to his record number of Rap Chart No.1s.

2016-17 really was a game-changing time for rap

I knew songs from every year on this list, but 2014-2018 was such a nostalgia trip for me. That was my high school years, and these songs just threw me for a curveball. I honestly kinda teared up listening to some of them, especially the 2016 songs. High school was such a good time and it was full of some great music. Some days I just wish I could go back
