Still laugh sometimes but Tom and Jerry are the best

Surprised how Scooby-Doo became so popular much later in the early 80's rather in the late 60's when it first came out. I'm really proud of Scooby-doo that show means a lot to me and you can see over the decades how the art style progressed and changed with the times. (each style was so cool). The feature films and tv shows were very memorable even the live action movies with Freddy Prince Jr were so iconic and depicted the 2000's perfectly. I hope it never dies.

I don't believe this video is based on any real data about Scooby Doo, or any of these cartoons. It's just set up so that cartoons start out with a smaller viewership, and gain viewers over time at random. Which isn't even really how it works in the real world, a lot of the time. Like contrary to what this video claims, the Simpsons reached its peak viewership in the early 90s, and has been declining since. Yet this video claims seven times more people were watching the Simpsons in 2019 versus 1991. Same with Scooby, I'm sure viewership rises and falls with each new series, or as old series end. It doesn't just keep going up in a straight line forever

I''ve been addicted to watching these type of video charts lately. It's just fascinating and kind of like time travelling. Never knew how dominant Tom and Jerry was. However, there seems to be several cartoons missing from here. What about Garfield, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Animaniacs, Family Guy, King of the Hill, and how did TMNT not chart in the 80/90s? It seemed to only make appearance in the early 2000s.

As a kid my parents took me year after year to Romania, where my mom's family still lived - around the 80s - the only thing there on TV I knew was Tom & Jerry.

As crazy as this sounds. My great grand father named the cartoon “Tom & jerry” . He was one of Hannah Barbera’s original illustrators. When the cartoon was created all of cartoonist’s gathered around and they quiet literally picked the name out of a hat. And the name “ Tom & jerry” was picked by Hannah himself. My grandmother told me he hated the name so much. This makes my heart happy

yo i loved tom and jerry as a child and i love it even now like i never preferred watching anything else other than tom and jerry, which is why i didn't even know that most of the shows on this list even existed, like that's how much i was addicted to that show

truly tom and jerry deserve it back in the days i watched them like crazy whenever it was aired even asked dad to bring thm on vhs after tht it was popeye,bugs bunny,looney toons oh those were the days still watch them though but after i watched captain tsubasa in late 90s things changed shifted to animes but desire to watch tom n jerry still pops up even today.

If you grew up in the late 90s or early 2000s, it was all about those cartoon cartoon Friday nights on cartoon network, and then looney tunes and Tom and Jerry Saturday morning

Tom and Jerry never died . But the one who created them 70 years ago died last year RIP

I'm in my 40s and Flintstones was way more famous and well known than the jetsons, I'm shocked to see the latter was way more popular throughout many of the years

How can a few group of people create a Cartoon that even decades later it still has the some of the best cartoon punchlines of all time?Just goes to show the potential of what us humans can achieve

I always ranked a couple cartoons as my personal favorites and objectively the best cartoons of all time that no one would disagree with. My top 10 in order- Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Dragon ball Z, SpongeBob, Avatar the Last Airbender, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Regular Show, and Adventure Time. Happy this list proves that Tom and Jerry is simply the undisputed, best cartoon of all time. God Bless William Hannah and Joseph Barbera.

Mine only grew up watching jetzons. Not gonna lie.

I wish some of these old cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner were shown on mainstream TV like they used to be... I would watch them even now I'm in my 50's! LOL! 😀

Tom & Jerry is just one of those popular cartoons that literally never gets old no matter how many times you watch the episodes or what age group you're in. It's truly an undying legacy that continues to shine it's classical, hilarious, and creative energy on TV to this very day. Well... the old ones at least.

I think its gotton better than the first 5 seasons, but worse than seasons 10-20. Its is still good but they are stepping down on the adult part of it to get lower ages engaged

I've actually always hated the simpsons so I just try to ignore it or turn of the tv when it comes on

TMNT, SpongeBob and Tom & Jerrry are my favorite cartoon shows of all time

Very surprised by a lot on this list. First off by how popular Tom and Jerry was for so long. Yes I know of it and probably have seen some episodes but I never watched it like I had other shows growing up in the 90s. I'm also surprised Rugrats never made the list or any other Nickelodeon show. Cool to see The Simpsons remain on the list for a while as well although I had no idea enough people are still watching in 2020 for it to still be that high lol. Really cool to see legends like South Park and Futurama on here. All in all, that was fun to see.

I was impressed to see how Tom and Jerry maintained its audience and it kept on increasing. I also used to see Tom and Jerry when I was in my 10s, but I didn't know that Tom and Jerry is so old. I expected to see Pokemon and Doraemon on the top lists but they didn't come close also.

Tom and jerry are legendary cartoon how many times kids watch it it never gets old 🤩🤩

I watched many of these on TV here in Brazil in the 90's. My personal favorite was Woody Woodpecker. Damn, that is so nostalgic.

I am really impressed that Miraculous isn't there.

Tom & Jerry is King. Quickly became the most-watched cartoon in the 50's and maintained that position almost consistently for 70 years. I was expecting something like the Simpsons to finally knock it off the top spot but only Looney Tunes managed it, and briefly at that.
