We all need to remember all over the world, people are people and to disregard the noise. The blending of old and new to the ultra-modern in China is fascinating. It’s been such a beautiful journey to spend time with you two as you travel this amazing country. 去年春节期间我去过沙溪，那段时间天空万里无云，超级美，晚上拍到了满天的星星。很有缘份的是，我也在古戏台边上那家叶子咖啡外面看了一下午的人来人往，几乎就是同一个座位。这也是我印象最深的古镇，几乎没有之一。当然我也特喜欢丽江和大理🎉祝你们玩的愉快❤

我去的时候还没那么火，也是坐在这个咖啡厅，点了杯拿铁还有旁边一个有名的肉桂面包，悠闲坐了一上午，还碰到李现刘亦菲他们拍戏，结果才知道是拍去有风的地方

ผมเคยไป เมืองนี้ Shaxi ประมาณ 10 ปีมาแล้ว ตอนนั้น มี โรงแรม หรือ เกสเฮ้า ไม่กี่แห่ง ไปที่ตลาด Sideng ไม่มีใครเลย เดินอยู่คนเดียว มีร้านกาแฟ 2-3 ร้าน นอนอยู่ 2 คืน แล้วไปต่อที่ เมือง Nuodeng อยู่บนเขา ไปกิน Ham แฮม ที่อร่อยที่สุดในจีน (หมักด้วยเกลือบนยอดเขา)

You guys are so cute and really know how to travel, I traveled many times in Yunnan but never know this town til watching your video. You inspired me to travel to Yunnan again & thanks a lot! & look forward to more adventures from u2 😊

You’ll definitely have to visit Shaxi next time! And stay at least 2 nights … we wish we could stay even longer!

I feel like my spirit is lifted and purified by this beautiful place and by Dali, of course.

I always think that there is probably a lot you haven't shown in your travels so that you may fully enjoy a place without worrying about filming/editing it. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience in Shaxi. It's now added to my extensive list of places to visit on my China trip.

We try to find a balance between travel and work 😊 Sometimes we stay a couple days longer after we film so we can enjoy the place and catch up on work. Hope you’ll love Shaxi as much as we did!

You two are just killing it with the china series. Great showing of such an enchanting tiny rural tourist town. Having watched numerous videos of Yunnan Province and becoming familiar with the culture and landscape by proxy I’ve come to believe that it’s the perfect mix of China and Southeast Asia. That might be a big reason why you like it there and maybe feel almost belonging.

I'm so glad I saw this video, thank you. I stayed at Miss May Hostel and the owner, Joyce, was excellent. It made my life so much easier that she spoke English. She was incredibly helpful before, during and after my stay.

While you were there, take a look at the history and find out how this old town was rebuilt. The architect who did the job was amazing. We can enjoy this beauty because of his professionlism with passion and respect to the history, culture and nature.

I love Yunnan so much too. My husband and I spent close to 3 weeks in the Ancient town of Shuhe and 2 weeks in Dali in 2014. The guest house with a courtyard was just so beautiful i think we were told about Shaxi, but in 2014 it was not as well known and touristed. Yunnan is definitely a must visit place. I felt same like you when we were in Shuhe, just hanging out was what we did! So relaxing, lovely old town on the Tea -Horse route. Thanks for your vlog! ❤️👍☮️

Great video again! To answer your question about the canola, yes, we do cook the canola plants, at least in Sichuan where I grew up. It’s usually stir-fried and tastes like a combination of mustard green and broccolini!

A real delight to watch your video. Gives me a few thoughts along the lines of "the world can become a much better place, just like this...".

I love your videos, especially the Yunnan series. I am from Indonesia so this place is also my vibe, I can see myself moving to Yunnan, Chengdu, or Hainan to live. Hope you keep extending your stay in China so we can get more videos to watch about China.
