For anyone wondering about the horse being shaved... This is called clipping. Most equestrians do this in the winter if they have a horse in constant work, because their hair gets longer due to the cold and it's like wearing a winter jacket to the gym when they get ridden/exercised. Since their hair is so short after they are clipped, they wear a blanket when it's cold so they don't freeze, but when it's warm enough or if they're being exercised, the blanket comes off. No, horses coats don't grow endlessly 😂 It just gets longer in the winter. Hope this helped!

Horses need their winter coat for all the cold weather and rain and snow. They cannot be shaved in winter and second they only get shaved if they have cushions disease which causes them to grow a lot of hair uncontrollably or they are the curly bred horse. You can't listen to "fun facts" they are NEVER true
