    Awesome! One of the best work environments a man could hope to labor in. I've had a suspicion of gold being deposited here in Missouri for many years now. As a teenager we took vacation neer Cripple Creek, Co., We took the underground gold mine tour in town, and I actually payed attention to the guide. I learned gold and quartz love each other but they can't be together forever! I caught the fever then, and I've been sick with it ever since! Found out about the silver mine near Ironton, that only made me study my geology more! You have brought it all together for me. I will officially start my prospecting this year, 2020 near home, somewhere in the exposed ancient bedrock of the St. Francois mountain range! It's a good thing picking up the trash, been practicing that for years! Keep up the good work!

    Kyle spot on insane amount of heavies coming out of that crack. Lead to the max never seen anything like it. I feel like your going to pull out a serious nug big time. Great action stay on track .You need to journal the creek and crack location of pans pulled with gold weights. Its easy to get off track but you are close with that Qaurtz in that crack. Really cool egg you pulled the last video. Great clean ups your pan and the Creek. Happy pans. Becareful with that crack don't want to miss the big nug. Keepn it Real 😎 .

  • @deancoffey5703
    @deancoffey57034 жыл бұрын

    I believe the reason for what you found I both videos is because of water current flow during heavy rain and or heavy snow melt, especially on outside corners. You can spot these areas by several ways, on being the erosion of the banks and the flow during a flood and being able to read the water flow. It could mean a mere inches to feet. The area you found your most gold in video one is a great indicator of the heaviest flow during flooding or heavy snow melt. Any gold you find is good gold but being able to read the signs of water flow during flooding and after it's subsided will be a quality indicator of hot spot deposits. Just my opinion on this. Great job though, you worked that small section thoroughly!

    A good tip I found that works well here in Western Washington state that a old miner told me is to use a water ballon or water bottle filled about half way with water, some times I adjust the amount of water in the bottle or ballon depending on the flow of the water and height, then I will tie a fishing line to them and take pictures and notes as to how many yards it's out and I use land mark indicator in my pictures to pin point the low pressure zones when the water is high.

    If I was you, I’d have a 5 gallon bucket about half full of water to rinse off the bigger dirty rocks. I’d also throw all the heavies in it as well. Most people don’t realize that most gems are heavier than regular quartz and creek rocks. I’m sure lots of gold prospectors never look for gemstones because they don’t want to take time away from the gold prospecting. You can take the 5 gallon bucket of heavies home and search thru it whenever you want. Not to mention that lead brings about a dollar a pound. Last but not least are the Indian relics that turn up in creeks. There’s so much more than gold to find. You are also a man after my heart. I’m almost OCD when it comes to picking up trash. Especially when I’m in a place where people are nice enough to allow you on their property. I’ve been cleaning up behind others since I started metal detecting in the mid 1990’s. It really helps when you’re trying to get permission. Especially here in Virginia where landowners get flooded by people wanting to metal detect. It’s much easier to get permission to look for Indian relics. I have yet to see a farmer turn away, someone willing to get rocks out of their fields. I make sure to get bigger rocks that aren’t relics, out of their fields. Thanks for the videos.

    When younger, I was a "Caver", exploring wild caves or newly found sections of known caves! We "always" carried the trash we found, out of Any Wild Cave we visited! As you indicated, it gives the landowner a confidence that you'll leave the place better than you found it!!! The EGG, appears to be a somewhat large Quartz inclusion, in the mudstone bedrock! While fairly common, that IS an uncommonly Large one! Being Quart, indicates a wide Quartz Vein, somewhere upstream! Considering the tone of the title and beginning, I figured you'd clean out 8 or 10 GRAMS .... instead of 8 or 10 ""GRAINS!"" 😩 😠

    Where would you sell it, Cristian? Who buys gold there? My gf lives there and I want to pan but I have no idea who buys there legally.

    cristian Bayron your country and it’s islands is probably the largest untapped gold deposits in this modern age. The geology is perfect for mineral and metal deposits. Just do the research of your area and see what you come up with. Oh and Franks question on were to sell your gold. Most jewelry outlets deal in gold whether it is scrap or natural gold. Placer gold is usually a bit higher carat than lode gold. The placer gold here in Missouri runs around 22ct. I think it is such a high percentage of gold due to its size and how long it has been in contact with natural nitric acids from organic decomposition.

    Interesting comment Cristian!! I lived in the Philippines for six years, and the idea of panning the rivers never entered my mind, although I was very much aware of the rich gold deposits, and mines in the Northern Luzon mountains, like in the Baguio area.

    Yeah, it seems to me like any river running out of those Northern gold bearing mountain would have to have gold in it! Exciting idea!

    To much gravel in the pan and the gold wash out with all those rocks and gravel. Washing it back and forth. Maybe or not. Lol. Never actually panned myself. Just watch a lot.

    Dude, You have to watch how you pan. Your gold will settle at the back of the fines Your pan wave is Ripping right up your pan in the back and WASHING right over in full force the very area that, if panning correctly, would hold yoit gold flakes. Watch two toes. Watch any good panning video. Me thinks your washing away what lite gold your panning.... Just Sayin
