I used an application called FOV_Changer to increase/decrease the field of view as per my convenience. You can learn more about it here: battlerealms.fandom.com/wiki/Thread:7003?useskin=oasis

How do you make them run when you shift them?

Press the ALT button while giving them commands. Makes it similar to double right clicks, and makes the units run.

You can still get it back though by modifying the Battle Realms.dat file.

No, this is on GameRanger. Steam version multiplayer is quite unstable for now, will start playing on it once they make it stable
